any good line bred staffs on here

If I am quilty of anything it would be of being cheeky! "This is whats around, but you cant have it". I believed there was good idea to show people that there actually are genuine strains left, and that you dont need to look 5-6 generations to find a few dogs that have been worked. My experience said that there was a bad idea to post pedigrees on public boards. Perhaps I should have posted a ped of a retired dog, instead of a breeding, I dont know! Doesent mather since I wont be posting any more pedigrees here anyway. I have no reasson to post pedigrees or pictures since there is nothing for sale anyway! I just wanted to show a litter of dogs that I am proud to have played a small role in the making of!

Sounds like great breeding, I know all those dogs well, where is the thread, I must of missed that one, is it the one that was deleted.

 

Oh climb down off that soap box, I told you what this thread was about, its for people who want to talk pedigree, and so I may find some gear that I may have bred.
Who do you think you are, you come on this thread shouting about, sales pitches and how much cash have I got, you have brought this conversation right into the gutter, what business of yours is it if some body has got well bred staff pups and want to talk about them, and if they go to the right place on the site, why can't they sell them, you cant keep every pup you have in a breeding program.
I don't understand people who come on a thread with a topic they don't like and don't have anything to add to only spite and contempt, if you don't like the topic don't go on the thread and won't go on yours.

The admins have a policy of not allowing posts containing upcoming litters on the public board. It was my bad since I did not notice that. If I ran a board I would probably have the same policy. Anyways it was all for the best. As somone pointed out, most are not genuinly interested in information and knowledge anyway. Only information they want is the information that grease the hype around stuff they have somehwere far back in their dogs pedigree.

 

Ive found this topic very interesting, and although im not personally aware of some of the dogs up front in the ped, my reckoning is theyve probably proved that they are worthy of breeding (and yes i would jump at the chance if offered) I didnt see the posts as a sales pitch and am glad i managed to see the peds before they got taken down, but im still not sure why they did get taken down, as i see a shit load of posts with people linking peds of a breeding they just done (not as a sales pitch, but as a talking point) after all, are we not here because most of us have a common interest, and like to see whats going on in the stafford/ pitbull world? Or maybe im just being naive!Cheers Dan.

 

to me this was not a sales pitch it was a proud pitch and its good to see there is still some top staffords being bred ansd i say keep up the good work and to much bickering can lead to problems and i like to see stafford people help each other out with breeding advice and other things it will help the breed alot

well said and to be honest if i did'nt have my dog and was looking for something of a certain line,i would have a better idea as to what is about if people are talking about what they have and how theyre bred,
but on the other hand if i had a certain line and wanted to flogg it, it would be in my interest if newbies thought there were no other choices and that mine were the only good dogs out there,
it would be hard for me to tout my dogs as the only good dogs if i can see with my own two eyes that other people have good well bred dogs, just food for thought.

 

Thing with staffords, all noses pointed different direction. Nose towards others ? Someone's getting bit.

I have Staffords. I've never owned a pitbull, so I don't know how much they differ.

Let me explain...its an internet forum...when you put your business on the net you make your business everyones business and you invite everyone to give an opinion...get it!...i've no problem with anyone selling or studding dogs...i just dont think the internet is the best place for our type of dogs...and it makes me laugh when hypocrites sell dogs whilst pretending they are not..."dragging the thread into the gutter"? dont be such a drame queen its you thats been chucking around the childish insults (put any abuse in a PM next time )...have to say that Strider dog of yours is a cracking looking Stafford (is that wot you wanted to hear?) all the best with him

 

I am sorry if you find a reasson to get upset over my remark. It was not directed towards you, just a general reflection. I have been on these dog boards for fifteen years now, and have made a few general observations over the time. I dont find any reasson to be offended by you. I know what we have in the other end of the lead, and I know our intentions. None of us breed bloodlines as such, we breed dogs! So you may object over what we choose to call the blood.

Since many seem to approve of my posts, I have been approached by a lot of people on this board that are in the market for a pup. I have not sold a single pup trough this board! Neither have I directed them anywhere where else. As already stated, all our pups are kept or sold as pure family pets.

I knew what you were as soon as i saw your first post on this thread as i have met your type a hundred times before.
You have been writing comments on a THREAD with a TOPIC, not a forum, do you understand that ? and what you have written has got nothing to do with said topic.
I have written nothing about selling pups or advertising my dog at stud.
All i ask is that if you want to comment stop bringing other topics in, just make your own thread on the rights and wrongs of pedling and sales pitches.
As far as me slinging insults, you obviousely have a selective memory, in your first post on this thread, you implied that i was either trying to sell a stud or a braggart, which was inflammatory and provocative to say the least and was sure to bring a negative response.
You say i am throwing abuse, ime sorry i dont mean to, to me i am just stating fact.
If i say you are a TROLL you will think i am taking the piss, but if you google internet TROLL, you will see my point.
