  7. Being dehydrated or not enough water can make their breath smell bad also

Does it smell fishy? supposed to be associated with anal glands.

The kibble is causing the bad breath. Especially that garbage IAMS. Its full of corn and other fillers. Particles get stuck to the teeth and cause decay. RAW is the best you can do for your dog and its teeth. Raw meat does not stick to the teeth and the bones help keep the teeth clean.

could def be diet, but also make sure to check all her teeth out. sometimes bad breath can be associated with dental disease or a bad tooth (i.e. abscess, broken, or infected tooth.) i would be surprised if that was the case at her age, but ya never know. pay attention to the gum line when you check em. red or swollen can be an indicator of something you may not can see by just looking at the teeth. back teeth especially

and also, when i used to work for the vet, we had a young dog come in with horrible breath. after a good oral exam, we found that he had a stick wedged across the top of his whole mouth between the teeth that had started to rot and create sores.

Bad breath can be related to kidney issues. If its real bad get it checked by a vet.

Forgot it was a pup lots of pups get bad breath when teething, gums might be swollen as teeth are pushing through and make a good breeding ground for halitosis it will pass if this is the case.

well i noticed the top puppy canines are still in but the adults are starting to grow through..... maybe this is the reason... and will they just fall out or do i gotta go get them removed?

if they're still there after the adult teeth have come all the way in, give it about another month. then if the puppy canines are still there, yes, you need to get them pulled.
