The Scottish Blue Paul is said to be extinct now but when they were around these dogs must have been traded with other dogs.could they have been introduced into APBT lines? whats ur folks opinions?

there is a picture in my album of the Blue Paul from 1860s
If we believe in the Blue Paul it says in an old book of mine''The Blue Paul existed in America during the 19th century and may have been included in the bloodlines of other fighting dogs''
Whats ur opinion on this guys?

i wouldnt rule it out , in the old days best to best was the way they didnt worry about peds too much , i have a friend in his 80s from cradley he says in his youth if it was a good un it was bred n any mention of peds were met with a smile , so goin on that id say its likely jmo

No one really knows about the blue paul no pic's just here say but that dont mean it never existed.best to best was always the way it was done back in the day not paper breeding.Thats why when they started reg staffs with the kc a lot just had the name of the owner breeder or area they came from.

the blue paul appears in most history books on bull breeds (pitbreeds). he is not a Scottish dog he was brought to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com[IMG]Scotland</st1:country-region> from main land
Europe</ST1:place by Romanin gypsy’s . he was used for fighting and would have been traded and introduced to most of the fighting stock of those days .

It's on record that the blue paul's were also red's and some were brindle. Because of their colouring I presume to say they were called pit dog's.

Suposed to have looked like this , also im sure it was spelt Blue Pol (poll)
A modern day show stafford enthusiast says when visiting ireland some years ago he frequented pikey/gypsy camps to look at their various bull breeds, said he was then shown what was suposed to have been a Blue Pol ... true or not .. just what i had read.

Lad who own's the dumbriton staffords put something like that in his book. Then again them gypo's will tell anyone what they want to hear, plus them stafford people will believe anything.
I remember when a friend was standing next to dread and convinced a show stafford person that Dread was a genuine 100% Blue paul. Should have left it at that but we told him the truth eventually. You should have seen the look of disapointment.

I met a bloke with a big blue bulldog x staff at a bullbreed show who said he was trying to re-create the Blue pol using this dog as a foundation!!! Thinking back I should have given him a big slap for being such a numpty.

no one should have the right to say they have a blue paul.im a fucking highlander and i aint seen no blue paul! they are obviously extinct now as a pure bred but u cant change the fact they were called a Scottish Blue Paul! surely they were bred to all fighting breeds as u say Best to Best breeding. If u ask me they wouldnt be in all those books for nothing!
