Like i said pistol /vino etc was nothing like the dogs the indian was breeding before general got stolen , and its now common knowledge that the indian ended up with him at some point ,so make up your own mind .

 

nice ped Gringo but that barely counts as a Midnight cross. it's like an 8th in there.

 

It's a 1/4 midnight but you're right it's barely a cross. Mostly all the blood comes from the same stuff though if you follow the families. The Sorrells is going back to the Zeke dog who was a full brother to Pit Generals grand-dam Mert and you can figure out the rest of it I'm sure.
Anyway, we didn't breed a Midnight dog or an Eli dog, we just bred what we considered to be 2 of our good dogs and they just happen to have Midnight and Eli in them.

Hey PMJ tell a little about that blood you have. I'll tell ya those dogs out of the Waco dog were a very good litter here. In that litter there was Ch Nena, who was featured making a very game broken leg scratch in the gameness section of the APBT Mexico magazine, Ch Curly, Vudu 2x, Ginsu 2x and Luguer 1xgl. We bred Ch Curly to Ginsu 2x and got Mandinga 2x. Mandinga 2x was sold when young and produced a number of winning dogs for a few people and we just got him back last year.
They are some good and game hard biting dogs.

 

i dont post peds online but he is atleast five times what you call pit general in 4 generations.

PMJ I had heard that Max was up for stud and we would have liked to breed the Ginsu bitch to him to try and maintain that blood but between the travel and stud fee we couldn't come close economically. It's still in the back of our minds though and maybe someday we can pure it up some.

I know this is gonna piss Key off some but I can't help it, I really like the Midnight/Limey cross.

Deadgamekiller in Argentina the most successful dogman is Cuban Kennels who has been breeding and competing with his Sorrells dogs he got from Bert around 40 years ago. He is known as one of the hardest men to win over down in this area and his dogs are the type that you have to kill them to win. There is another man in Venezuela who also has been breeding that family for almost as long but he is not as successful as the Cuban is.
And down here the only person I know of who ever put fake titles on a dog was a man who came to live down here from Texas and later had to prove his dogs titles but unfortunately his fake Ch dog quit twice,, but he did win his first one. He moved back to the states now where I guess it's easier to peddle the lies.

Was stated long ago Indian ended up with Pit General & Eli and one more famous dog.. So who knows..I know one thing I'd take a Midnight dog in a heartbeat whether its General or not.. I'd take one because of Midnight and those down from him..

 

Was Pit General human friendly?

 

Gringo..fake champs are every where along with the paper hangers...we just cant afford to be as open with our shit here...its bad now. Whole yards getting wiped out on a regular. Does make it easier for frauds but if you have contacts you can find out the truth...Im sure you know all this...Kind of offensive acting like frauds is just an american problem..Im proud to be american an proud owner of american gamedogs

 

Eddie I never said it was just an american problem because it isn't. What I meant is that with the huge population of dogs there and the laws being what they are there, this person was able to pawn off his dog as a Ch and was never challenged until he came down here. You will find that down here in this area when someone hears of a good dog the first thing they want to find out is if theirs is better lol.
Aside from that there is no money here in the dogs or selling pups so hanging a title on a dog isn't going to help you much except to attract a lot of attention from other doggers wanting to prove their dogs against yours.

Key I'm sorry but I don't have any pics of the yard in Venezuela (Gato's). He used to post a pic of a chocolate color dog with and undershot but I never saved it. The only other pic I have is of a bitch of his named Catira in the pit when they won over Bellon Club. If you like I can email you the pic but I won't post it here without their permission.

I believe that Pit General was not aggressive towards humans.

 

My fault then Gringo...the way i read it was wrong i guess then. Sounds like fun where your at. It sounds like you have a good competitive set up down there. Being competitive from high school sports,amateur boxing and now a days mma is what i love about gamedogs. I love compition! But i also love the oppertunitys given here in the good ol USA. Hard work pays off here and provides my family with a good life and the best schools in the world. Again,my fault for the misunderstanding. Best of luck

 

Well Eddie I think that the best dogs in the world are over there as well as some of the best competition. You just won't find out about it very easily is all and with good reason. However with the good, the bad comes hand in hand and it's my opinion that presently the bad is outweighing the good by far.

I also agree that there is no better place to find opportunity than there is there. It came at too high a price for me though, I was not willing to give up my freedoms and rights for some pocket change. But I can't really blame anyone for doing it since they can provide a descent life for themselves and their family.

But in the end I have to admit that if I wanted a good Midnight dog I would have to go there for it. Which is why we don't have one lol.
