Hi Guys just felt the need to post a couple of pics...

Any advice on how to improve your dogs stamina and endurance?

Currently doing a 2hr incline walk every Saturday but like with any other training your dogs body becomes stronger...where to from here?

    Thanks

welcome...that looks like a good way to spend a weekend...as far as your question goes, that a good start then just more walking. Maybe more times a week not just once, swimming, running, fetch, etc. you will also find other ways like springpole and flirtpole are exelent ways, just make you your local laws wont get you introuble for having it...

Well 2 hour walk once a week ain't much I would say start walking more then add chain dragging later. Just a light chain hooked to the collar at first then move up in weight but nothing crazy it's better than putting a collar around their neck imo
That black dog is looking right in the 3rd picture though.

with that much walking/jogging he will shape up nice and quick...my question up prvs was "why the big chain" jmo looks better without it ;)

as far as a flirtpole: long piece of pvc tubing with a thin rope ran through it to a toy at the end, and go for it...easy and bout 5bux. looks like one of those cat toys people buy at walmart and petstores..

That should be easy to make... the thick chain is only worn when we training...used to add resistance when training uphill.

What specific muscle can i work with various exercises?

Anybody know how to do focus training.

throw the chain away and let him pull a tire(with a weight pull harness) while he walks , makes it easier on you and a bit harder on him
