what i will point out that you completely missed the boat with what i posted. what you did was stereotype and generalize me because i did not share your belief (my "lilly white world" asa you put it), when you dont know me or where i have walked. so then i posted what i did, knowing full well the response it would illicit, and it worked like a charm.


if anyone takes anything away from what i post here on this site i hope it is this....that i try to provoke thought. far too many people do not excercise their minds. no one can debate anymore- it just turns in to arguments. a well thought out and executed debate should have you understanding the opposing side.

It works my nerves when two people are argueing/debateing or flat out fighting and one pulls the spelling card to show there superior intalect.:rolleyes: Its lame and its cheep. I flat out dont spell well lol And on top of that I type like a Gorrilla. Hunting and pecking with the best of em speed wise. But often littered with typos everywhere. Add too that, I tend to just hit send without proof reading.Multiply that by the fact I never use spell check.It all equals = I dont give a fuck Squared. :p

i live in a state where it was decriminalised for a fair while for upto ten plants inside or out. There was a stage when i was 17 or 18 that you could throw a stone in my area and hit a house that grew in and out.
once hydro took off my state was supplying upto 80% of our countries weed market , where a pound here would fetch around 3k, in the eastern states they could get around 6k. My state had over 100 hydroponic stores and the others had under twenty, that is a huge difference. On travelling interstate i would be told it was legal here, thats the impression they were under since all their green came from here.
Soon it became a highly cashable syndicate style crop where upto ten people would setup a few houses and make a killing.
You could potentially work a day job and have a room setup at home and if all was gravy a blue collaar worker or a tradesman could make upto an extra 30k a year on top of their wage which would pretty much put them near the 100k a year income with that 30 being tax free. Alot of people jumped on the bandwagon and it actually became our larget state export.

What followed was a few years of larger numbers of addiction, mental health issues and a shitload of related crime including violence, death and a ton of home invasions by a specific race[i will not mention race as it will be taken the wrong way but its the truth] guns and weapons brought into crimeless areas because the average suburban joe wants to make a quick buck.
I have had one friend who has only ever been a smoker and has developed serious mental health issues due to overuse and addiction.
Another friend who aswell as smoking moved onto other drugs has been in and out of hospitals with mental health issues since he was 17 he is now 35 and is still not right.

Hydro weed has gone from being grown by smokers who take pride in what strain they had and made sure all chemicals are completely flushed to money hungry criminal organisations who want yeild way more than quality smoke putting stronger less clean strains out on the street where smokers were smoking more than weed they were smoking the chems that are still in it.
Criminal organisations all bought into hydro shops and one organisation ran upto seven stores statewide so they were killing it in the rooms and by selling supplies.
This gave them money to buy the chems used to cook ice and meth and pay for pill press' , guns and all other things that are more expensive.

For a while what i would get a warning or a $150 fine would get me jail time in another state.

These days the laws are not as lax and the hydro stores have slowly diminished but it still goes on, the difference is now that the other states still get the weed grown here but the smokers here are slowly paying more.

Other drugs are also more expensive as the weed laws get tighter so do the other drugs laws, Australia is now the biggest target worldwide for cocaine due to our massive prices, where in Britan it cost about 50 quid[i think] and even cheaper if your in the USA, we have a price of $350 per gram here.

Should it be legal? The surfer of ten years ago says yes, but the older person says no, ive seen more bad than good comefrom lax laws.

 

To much of a good thing can be bad. Maybe the USA should look at other countries that have lower laws with more stringent punishment and adopt them into our society. Germany, 14 to drink beer and 18 to drink liquor (I think). Amsterdam has a 5 law; 5 grams, 5 plants. What are the punishments that come with breaking these laws?
