Wow yesterday's storm!

Yesterday we had a storm blow in and lighting hit a cherry tree out back by the dogs. It is a big old tree. The limbs are hugh and the came down on Cherry and Linda's dog houses. Good thing they are well built dog houses or they would been killed. I had to go out in the storm and move both females temporarily. I will have to chain saw the mess up. I lost power here for a while which cause me computer problems where I had to tare apart the computer to fix. I have go to my other house and check to see if the power is back on.

Wow that sucks, someone recently lost a couple of bulldogs to a storm, I am glad you and your dogs are ok.

 

yes I'm north of you and me and the honey went to the movies and we heard it a little and when we came out looked like al hell broke loose 70 mph winds and shit.had an old dead apple tree fall near the pens took me forever to cut it up and take it to a friend house for him to burn when I lived in the city.great that the dogs are ok.

 

This is fuckin nuts . I.M. as you know we dont stay too far from each other and a WHOLE F'n tree fell on my house and DIRECTLY onto one of the dogs houses. I have No clue how the house held up. Its built like a tank to withstand these winters. I have pics I will post asap.

 

It has been quite a summer. I'm dreading what this winter will be like. I might have to invest in a snow blower.

I've lived here my whole life. I usually just shovel the white shit, but this summer reminds me of the summers we used to get which were followed by winters that produced house covering snow drifts. Unless I can force a room mate outside and off his ass to do some damn work for once.

But that does mean my Saint Bernard will be thrilled this winter. This summer hasn't really been her thing.

 

Shhit and I thought Ireland had bad weather, all we get is constant light rain and cloud, not storms lol, I feel sorry for ye tho, most be annoyin havin to fix up stuff all the time....

That is a hell of a way to lose dogs. Cherry (off Ch. Red Dog & Ch. Dutchess) is close to 10 years old. Live all them years and been through what she has, to be taken out by a storm???:mad:

Used to do a lot of hunting in the thumb just outside badaxe in parisville great hunting sry to hear u guys got hit so hard

RedGoodbye, did you get slamed again? My mother was in Wal-Mart getting her prescriptions filled and she & the rest of the customers were sent in the storm shelter. Tornado hit less then a mile from the store! One hit by the airport and another just about a couple miles south of me. 3 in the country with in minutes!
What a summer! Sure glad there is no oil slick with the rain water!
Damn, I haven't finished cleaning up from the last one!

 

well by us, we have been getting hit with rain hard. lots of flash floods!!

 

I actually sat in my garage yesterday and watched some of the storm that came through. It was fun, until the garage started to flood.
