I have some experience with HP,, And for the most part His dogs are of good Quality, He's sent some to Japan that were off Chans Blackjack stock really stepped up the game over there, The problem with Hp is that He's constantly changing bloodlines and importing new blood, Now he's workin with some Andy cap stuff, He's ran heavy Jeep dogs, Chinaman Dogs, Redboy stock, and several other flavor of the month dogs, Only to sell it and run new stuff that sells! Some of his business dealings have been on the shady side. and has had a stolen dog or two on his yard! (LIKE MY DOG) I never got her back and things would have gotten Ugly if I tried! Says Him! He's also taken credit for some dogs that were not his but bought cheap and re sold them for way more than what he paid,, Some actually went on to do big things in the dog world, but He took most of the credit for them. AND NO I WONT MENTION WHO, WHAT, WHERE, AND WHEN!
But for the most part he knows what a true bulldog is all about and will send one out to ya if your willing to pay his price! I have heard of some peeps in Guam not receiving what they paid top dollar for, also some peeps in the Philippines that got the same treatment!
I call things as I see them! and normally I woudn't give two shits about how another man manages their customers or there yard! But I did have an axe to grind with the man for how he spoke to me over the phone about a stolen dog of mine on his old website and on his yard! The dog was HP's Jackie. He paid someone to get the dog off my yard when I had to do some pre trial time for some bullshit that I got caught up with!
Anyways He gots decent dogs but- BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

pure herseay and speculation. well respected on the island ( i was out there early last year, nothing but praise is what i heard)
heres the part of it that doesnt add up- if he stiffed some folks from guam or the phillipines, im sure he would have gone mauka...and not come back, as there are loads of micronesians and phillipinos on the island ( i.e word would have gotten out)

as far as price goes- if people are willing to pay it- whos to stop them

 

I'm from the islands and He may have some respect on his island but not mine! A lot of this happened over 10 years ago and many didn't know him back then! Maybe he's stepped up his game since then! I no longer reside in Hawaii, But if we ever run into each other IT"S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!
I also wanna say 22 years of breeding and numerous bloodlines coming and going says a lot about a mans breeding practices!

i see no problems with running different bloodlines. if there's something out there working real good why not use it? IMO that's what good dogmen do to improve there yard.

To an extent I can agree with what you said. But a good breeder can take an average family of dogs and in 10 years make them better than when first acquired! HP has gone through everything under the sun And in 22 years just recently settles for what he's cranking out now? Some breeders are never satisfied with what their feeding! They stay the same at an average level no matter what blood they got on the yard at the moment! I have seen excellent dogs that has passed through HP's hands and owned a few, But the man can never concentrate on anything that is truly working and stick with it! In my honest opinion on why is because he's not a progressive breeder of Bulldogs and breeds what people in the islands want to $$$$$buy$$$$$ which is something always different from whats being used at the present time! I'm from Hawaii and the bulldog scene is not like here in the states! There is some very good dogs floating around but their few and far between! HP is cashing in on a lot of fanciers in the islands that don't know what else is out there in the bulldog world, and buy sub par dogs locally cause really thats their only option cause of expensive quarantine laws and importing dogs is a real hassle! So then ya got guys like HP with $$$$$$$$$$$$ that can afford the new flavor of the month and importations fee's to make a killing selling his dogs!
LETS SEE Iv'e heard it said in here many a time, And don't we all look down on a PUPPY$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ PEDDLER$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I know I sure do!

They have a clean 18 month old @ stud:rolleyes:. Nuff said. Plus they are affiliated with that child jelet....... you know the one who posted a video on youtube with his dog and money spread out on the ground (like his has never seen both): analog-children raising children.
I know a little about the islands (not just visited) and i didn't know they were respected.

 

How about "NUFF SAID" is they've been breeding a GR CH, CH and both are ROM dogs the past few years, thats whats been on their yard. Also Indian Brumillo who has a hard earned reputation, they just had a litter off him in fact

hp kennels are a honest kennel and i recomended to every body that likes andy capp blood line .

 

How are they affiliated with jelet? Jelet has had 1 dog for a year or 2 hp has been in it for 22 years. Plus they are literally on 2 farthest sides of the USA.
Hpk is good people has good dogs and has produced their share of good dogs.
