  1. Btw, I live about 90 miles from where I found the dog. I also took him home, wrapped him in a sheet, and buried him in my back yard. He is buried under a nice shady oak with a large rock marking the grave.

I got on the forum, because I just got a Pit from a girl that lives in decatur who moved to an apartment and could no longer keep him. I was searching online for pit bull sticker for my car that says, "there are no bad pit bulls, only bad pit bull owers," (my vet has this sticker in her office and I always thought it was cool) and found this forum. Out of curiosity, I started looking around on the forum. When I saw a recent post by dmmk I thought, Holy crap, that looks just like the dog I found in south fulton. I joined the forum so I could see his info to find out what part of town he was in and search for other posts by him. Which is when I found the post about the missing dog. So I posted.

I am not a tree huger, In fact I cut down trees as a side job for a little extra cash.

    I can't explain the house.

Yes, my pit (huckleberry) is probably laying on my couch right now or next to my yellow lab at the heater vent that he loves. I know what usually happens to pits when they are stolen, and I am not willing to take the risk of leaving him in the yard while I am away.

so youre saying you dug up a thread thats 8 months old? that would be one hell of a coincidence

  3. No I was reading about a dog fighting bust that was posted up recently. I saw a post on the thread by DMMK, the dog is pictured in his avatar. The dog looked exactly like the dog I found, and his info said he was in GA. I then joined the sight, so that I could search for his other posts in hopes to find pictures or info about the dog in his avatar. While looking through the lists of all of his posts, I saw the one that said stolen dog and clicked on it. Which led to all of this.

Maybe ya'll can talk and see if it is indeed his dog. Maybe even describe the collar. Although if they stole the dog I would hope atleast they changed the collar.

Is it possible that whoever stole his dog might not have secured him properly and he got loose dragging his chain.... Not trying to take sides but that could have happened....:(

    GD Fam.

I asked Lee D. to open this thread back up. Because I didn't want anyone taking sides or get drama started with my name attached to it.

Everyone that knows me personally, knows that I take care of my animals as if they were my kids. Spud while with me lived the life of a prince.

I posted another thread, Thanking Lovers of Pits if he did help my stolen dog, or any other mans dog that was in need, and giving him a proper burial. Thats what I hope any of us would do if we saw a Bulldog in need of some help.

I will be getting with Lovers of Pits in Private, But I was taught since a young kid to Praise in public and handle everything else privately.

Thanks for all the Support GD Fam.
