Hope his chain out isnt close to your house or you can more than likely hang up sleeping for a few nights... After a while, he'll get used to it.

With a chain connected to his collar...that would be the best way to chain break a dog.

We got a male off a very very close and long time friend of mine and he doesn't bark how howls or makes a low keening howl type sound constantly!!!!! You can't use any type of no-bark collar for a dog on a chain but short of clubbing him we had to used a remote controlled shock collar! We just put it on the lowest setting and progressively went up until he realized each time he howled are bayed he would get a static shock! We check the collar on our wrists to make sure we knew it wasn't putting out too much first though. It felt like when you rub your feet on the carpet and get zapped when you touch someone! It kept the dog from seeing us as the ones to fear and know that his behaviour had an illresult!;)

we have a male two years old and he is the same way about his dog house some time the rain wont even make him go inside of it and he has been on his chain for a while now i think he does it so i will put him in the kennel

i got 1 that flat refuses to go in her house even in the rain, got 1 that only will go when it has rained a whole day or 2.if its warm and dry might not go till it rains like naustroms said.

    This.

Or wait till it gets very cold, and it most likely will go inside the dog house.

Might try just putting up a lean-to type of shade for him and each week nail a board on it to slowly enclose it after he lays under it and gets used to it. ....... just a thought......
