is this typical for pits only or do other breeds go thru this as well?

  6. uh.. well ive never dealt with anything producing other then pits and thats pretty rare so I cant give you advise there, but I know when I bred china and she is heavy wallace and a jeep boy those pups were fighting and snarling at each other around 3-4 wks! :)

separate them when not nursing. pair them off if you can. If you can't- just know some dogs don't need canine friends!

Could mean a couple things all regarding the normal shit that might make a dog a little more aggressive towards another. I've never had a problem with smaller litters, larger litters sometimes they can get rowdy and need to be seperated. It might just be a pup or two causing havok also and not the whole litter. Either way, its no biggie just seperate them.

yeah when u have big litters they will fight pretty early. I had to put the 2 biggest and 2 smallest in the house. 2 pups actually had to have stitches bc 2 of the biggers ones got ahold of them and all the dogs in the litter were tryion to get rid of the runts. At 4 weeks they can do damage so be careful

yea it might be a hint to how some of the pups personality or attitude might be like but thats it... and if they really gettin at each other seperate 'em, shouldnt be too hard.

Its normal puppy behaviour and you will see it in all breeds.

Yes littermates snarl and bite each other. All breeds. People always think if it is pit bulls that they are already DA but in reality all pups have been fighting with there littermates to survive since the day they were born. As time goes by they start to become less violent and start playing. Once they start eating solid food it not the same fight for survival.
