I've had a bad experience by purchacing a blue, blue nose pit from a kennel "if allowed I can post the name"....It looked niiiice but acted nothing like a pit...it was shy, always afraid, prefered to sit in corners, will not move or eat or do anything if anyone is around him, very inert...and very expencive atleast for what I got.....anyway would like to buy another one and I dont know which breeder I can trust...if I should purchace a blue nose or not....

Well, here at Game-Dog we really don't fancy bully dogs and hardly show dogs either we like good ole american working pit dogs. With that being said, people are the same in who you can and can't trust, there are cooked people all around. But First you have to KNOW what you want in a dog, then LOOK for who has what you want... There's a lil crook in all of us, just got to weed out the half honest from the not at all honest in who you know and what they say, Never get a dog from someone trying to sell you a dog, if they have stuff forsale, that's ok, if its what you want, but for folks trying to sell you something 9/10 they just want your money. You choose the dogs you get from who you want, if you can't trust the breeder/seller more times than not you won't be able to trust the dog... JM2C

If that is what you like "Blue nose bully" then by all means go for it! I would suggest doing some research on ancestors. Also evaluate the puppy make sure he doesnt have weak nerves. There are some random quick test you can do to make sure you pick the right one for you.

Breeder you can trust???? Trust no one!!!

I mean which is easier to deal with since my experience in pitts is close to zero...I grew GS and ROTs... and would love to have an APBT so should I start looking for a red or blue which is easier to deal with

a pet rock is easy to deal with, dogs arent they need alot of time and work. not talking trash on you but if your lookin for easy mabee a dogs not a good idea rt. now, just becouse the dog doesnt act the way a person wants him to doesnt mean he got riped off,or that it was a poorly bred dog.just like people sometome it comes down to product of his,or her invirement,if he's still a fairly young dog try to socialize him to some diff.kind of situations, and lots of people mabee his personality will inprove. (just my opinion)

no not that training a red nose is any different in training any color dog it`s all in you an what your willing to do time ,energy, money etc.... but however you can get sdome dogs a.p.b.t. or any breed that has genetic problems but hey thats not something a breeder can control unless he knows dat the dog`s hes breeding have fucked up genes already for example: if he has a dog who has one testical an he keeps breeding him then the chances of him throwing that trait is strong an he knows it but keeps breeding it :( but if you`ve never had an a.p.b.t. you should do some research on the breed an talk wit somebody who has experience wit da best bred of dog ever to walk this earth:)

The color of your dog will have nothing to do with its quality, trainability, or anything else associated with its behavior. Blue dogs are currently being exploited for profit on the internet and else where, but that doesn't mean you can't have a good blue dog. But the color has nothing to do with what kind of dog it will be.

I think the first question you should ask us why do you want a "pitbull"? What is it about them that you've seen or heard or experienced that makes you think it's the breed for you. To some it's the greatest breed on earth but they can tell you why they feel that way. Once you answer this question it will help
others to point you in the right direction.

thanks yardboy, junkyard and sampson1 as well as everybody else...anyway, let me start with the what do I like about the APBT?...it's the dog that i've always wanted to have but was always warned that if it's your first dog dont get an APBT...so for the past 3 yrs now I've had a GermanSheperd then a rott and now i think I am ready for the APBT experience...why? I know that they are smart, protective, get along with kids alot, and most importantly strong, I would never want my dog to get into a fight.. but would still love to have a strong one...I live in nigeria, not a nigerian, dont get me wrong "nothing wrong with being a nigerian" but I am not......but trust me you will need an APBT in you yard in nigeria...as for the time I have nothing but time here..after work nothing much to do...weekends it's beach time a lovely place to take a well trained dog to...I've been going through all different types of bloodlines that I can find on the internet..but it's like the more I read the more confused I get.....which one suits me more....I kinda sorted out some pls let me know if I was right or wrong...and if I am right could any one plsss help me out with a certain kennel or breeder where I can actually get any of those bloodlines from...the bloodlines that I sorted are:
    1)Yellow Buck
    2) jeep
    3) Zebo
    4) Angus
