I had my female bred last week for two days in a row. My neighbors blue pit (I believe it has a some game dog in it) came over while my female had climb out of her pen and stuck her. What some opinions on what could happen? What am I to do besides pray and wait? Pray harder?

click your heals together three times saying "my bitch aint knocked up... my bitch aint knocked up... my bitch aint knocked up"......... or you can just go to the vet

  11. well you can abort or spend the money and get all the dogs DNA profiled. You can match which pups go to which sire.

Okay I just cant help but say this and i'll start by saying i'm not saying the person who started this post is intending this but when people hear stuff like this do you think that its kinda bullcrap? Like the person is trying to ask another question in a round about way? Diagnose the question being asked. He threw in that the blue dog has some game blood in him as if to say should I take a chance with that. Its kinda funny. I mean its almost a given as to what you should do. I wouldnt even worry about dna profiling the whole litter to see whos for who. It aint that damn serious. Try it again another time. Get rid of the b.s. Next time you decide to breed make sure that you have your female somewhere nothing can get to her other than you. It works just fine that way. Im not trying to be a prick but I dont think this is a question that truely deserves and answer because if you had in mind the true meaning behind the breed then you wouldnt even have to ask as to what you should do if a "blue pit" jams dick on your game line female. Its would be instinct for you to handle it. If I had walked out on that crap i probably wouldve culled her for letting him and him for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Not really but i would have been extremely pissed and I wouldnt dream of asking what to do. Its obvious!!!

There are very few options. You can take your female to the vet and have the litter prevented, then try again when you have a proper enclosure set up to keep her away from other males.

You can also get a DNA sample from your selected stud and from the neighbors blue pit, and have each of the puppies dna profiled after they are born. This is an additional cost to consider, and you are still adding unwanted dogs to the world.

The last option is to spay your female. Of course this renders her unable to ever have a litter.

Good luck, and whatever you choose to do, definitely make sure you take all the proper preventative measures to keep your female from being accessable to undesirable males while she is in heat. :)

its a little unclear just what you are say'n:confused:

did you breed you female two days in a row.......then your neighbours dog got to her later as well????????

    OR

did your neighbours dog get to her, two days in a row???????

either way, if its not planed and/or wanted cull it.
gett'n shots from the vet to abort can be vary risky at the best of times. there can be complications.
if its gone to long, personally id let her have them, then take them away and cull em.:banghead:
