The man was born to box! Watching him was like watching a brutal ballet. Beautiful and Deadly.

I have to say that watching Iron Mike fight was something to watch as well.. not so much the technique but the absolute power behind his punches.

Ali is the greatest, but i'd put my money on MIKE in his prime against ali any day. Ali had chin for days, but if joe could move like mike ali woulda been toast.

Since we're on the subject of BOXING. Floyd mayweather [love him or hate him] is up there too as far as skills. As a fighter not so much but as a technical boxer... he's the best hands down.

Yeah, one may agree, however, this is an Ali thread. Mayweather needs his own.

yeah, not tryn to jack. Ali is the greatest... mike couldve been if he career went in the other direction. but everything happens for a reason.

Agreed venom I think Mike could've beaten Ali, same bobbing approach that caused Ali so much trouble with Joe but with quicker and heavier hands.

Tyson is a cur Frazer broke Ali jaw in the 1st and he still won on dec ...in those days it went 15 rounds....u know Frazer got him in the jaw after it was broken. Foreman would have ate Tyson for lunch rt off his grill.

    Ali> Tyson
Tyson was a straight ahead fighter. he was fast but he still was all offense. if ali could let "GEORGE FOREMAN" sit there and bomb away at him then i think he could survive tyson in the first few rounds then start picking him apart with the footwork and jab:)

id like to have seen Tyson try to get inside on that mean ass jab Foreman had. big George could probably come back now and STILL whoop some ass. and now i say, this is an Ali thread, and my mentioning of Foreman was only to prove the caliber of fighter Ali faced

everyone knows Foreman was drugged when Ali beat him even Ali admitted it....maybe some one can find the link. Foreman said he originally thought it was due to someone ginving him a hamburger not cooked on his grill the night before and all the grease slowed him down....true statement via Foreman :D
