What a bunch of dumbasses...they say APBT isn't its own breed but a name for several breeds including Staffs...LMAO...I quit reading here but not before posting a response to tell that guy how dumb he is...It is people like this ranting and raving about stuff they dont know that spreads bad reps and media...another good reason we should do something.

are another...dont let a real breeder of good APBTs hear you mess it

were right saying they shouldn't weigh 80lbs and they were
mutts...they were probaly mixed with mastiff or something which make
the ABPT BREED man aggressive unlike the pure strain of the BREED.

The last time I checked in the beginning of our breed the UKC authorized the Pitbull as its own breed long ago and Tudor set it up as this so any dog that won 3 fights could get entry and a Pitbull status to breed for the future. I may be wrong but I think thats why we have pedigrees under APBT because it is our BREED name for our pure breed. Otherwise you couldnt register and Pedigree a non breed dog or it would just be as a "Pure Bred Mutt" not a breed.

 

The term "pit bull" is a generic term that's given to cover a select number of breeds all having some of the same characteristics. The breeds included are the American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT), American Staffordshire Terrier (AST or Am. Staff.), Staffordshire Bull Terrier (SBT or Staffy Bull), Bull Terrier (BT), American Bulldog (AB) or any mix of these breeds in which the resulting dog shares some common characteristics (short, muscular, etc....overall "bully" appearance). I do my best not to use the term "pit bull" as I prefer to be more specific when able. Also, the term "pit bull" is what the media is having field day with by labeling any muscular looking dog a "pit bull".

I like how they think you can get a true reading on a dogs bite pressure.It's nearly impossable.There are some really stupid people who beleive a lot of that crap thats posted on there.

 

Why is there a need to speak badly of someone just because of an opinion they have? Although, I may or may not agree with what they have to say (I haven't even read it), it is what they feel they need to say (which they may or may not should have said to begin with, depending on what they said). If someone is educated and respected for their opinion, they are more likely to actually take to heart what you have to tell them rather than rebelling just because you said something about them that may or may not be true in their own opinion.

HMMM I guess the term APBT is generic then...not what I would use to describe curs like other breeds... meaning our breed is nameless?...isnt our breed registered under APBT...? A breed name???...and the last time I went to a dog breed site it was listed under APBT as a breed... Or are we really just all lumped together ruining our name. This is totally stupid and dumb. Pitbull is a breed name for Gamedogs only IMO...Like it was designed for back in the UKC... not for any other breed or to be based off what a cross or dog LOOKS like...This would mean any registered Staff or AB or BT or ABT or what the hellevers could duel register and breed and still put forth generations of "pitbulls"? Come on now!!!

that was in my oppion of the man...espeically when he said all people who own pitbulls were worthless and crap........i didn't think by call the man a MULE or a FOOL would offend anyone....i wasn't cussing or bad mouthing i stated what my oppion of the man was.....and nothing changes i still think he is a mule and a fool in my oppion!!!
