i aint going to tell anyone what to do with their dog, but here's a little story for ya.
a long time ago i owned a very good female. she showed us everything we needed to know;) a devistating bitch, if you like.
i used to keep her down the far back corner of our yard on a chain run. every now and then she'd be allowed up to the house where she was alway's very affectionate with my young family at that time. the kids could pull her ears or stick their fingers in her eye's and she would just lick em till they were wet through.
one day i came home to find two older boy's from up the road poking and hitting her with a stick.
obviously you can understand i kicked their young butts until their noses were bleeding and also gave the parents a good damb surve also.
    HERE COME'S THE HARD PART.
this bitch never made a noise on the chain previously ok.
now i come home to hear here acting up real good and i don't understand.
i go down the back and bring her up to the house, she's fine.
couple of day's go by and she's acting up, lunging on the chain etc., this goes on for a couple of days and i soon work out that every time she can hear those two boy's voices, she is acting up.
im well aware of whats going on, and i know my dogs real well.
i know if this bitch gets off that chain some how, i know exactly were she's heading.
    DECISION TIME.......
unfortunately it aint that hard for me...
i take my prize bitch and lay her to rest.
people do not understand, that as an owner of these dogs you have a great responsibility, and if you can't deal with it, don't own the breed.
sure some have said they could have taken her etc. but i treat it like the next guy aint going to do as good for my dog as i did. thats just me, the way i am. it doesn't mean im say'n someone is a lesser person or anything, i hope some realise where im comming from.
anyway, sometimes difficult situations are put in front of us regaurding these dogs and we as owners should be able to do the right thing and keep it safe for all.
    B.........

Good dogmen make hard decisions, because they know they are the right ones.

Put em out, just like BEHAVIN did.

  3. OK first of all letting these dogs "play" is about as bad of an idea as owning man biters. You think he needs education......well you could use a little yourself. Do I have dogs that get along at home. Yes I do. Does that mean I'd EVER let them "play" with other dogs??? ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY NOT!

As far as man biters are not game. Once again a little education could be in order for you. One has nothing to do with the other.

Oh and another thing you might want to consider is they are his dogs. YOU have no say whatsoever in whether he keeps them or not. So I really don't know what you mean when you ask should YOU get rid of them. If you came to my house to get RID of any of my dogs the only thing that would be getting rid of was an ass beaten body.

    Carry on

  4. Well tried to add it but it was too late. For the record I don't condone man biters in any shape, form, or fashion.

I agree. There is no place for HA dogs, especially now. This breed is already in big trouble. This only adds fuel to the fire that is already lit.

I think you might be misinterpreting what he meant by playing...at least that's how I took it.

    is he breeding them ??

  8. I think its up to the guy to do what he wants with his dog. Just remind him that his dog might be a lawsuit and more if he ever gets loose. Make sure its almost impossible for him to escape, dont breed or sell/trade the dog.

  9. I sure didn't take the post as a read between the lines one ;) Especially when the "game" comment was thrown in with it LOL

What has this board come to?

Game this and game that.... "playing" with this guys dogs.. basically calling the guy out to prove his manbiters are game....

Wow idiots are everywhere these days... manbiters aren't the only thing wrong with this breed

I don't care what you feed as long as it isn't bred or doesn't make today's headlines... ;)

id say if the op has to ask the question in the first place, and has even considered letting the dogs "play" hes already the wrong person to own 13 bulldogs.

should put em all down. by the time you own 13 real bulldogs, this is a no brainer
and a question you shouldnt have needed to ask.

no wonder we are in the shit we are in these days.

well done behavin, you allready knew but you did the right thing

I have no problems with a slightly HA dog but a man biter is different. My dog bill bark show aggression and has cornered people when they are unwelcome in the house but he does not bite. I wouldn't breed for this trait but would have no problems feeding a dog that dislikes some people and knows who I like and dislike.
