  1. In your opinion, what line of bulldogs are putting the best Catch Weight hound on the ground, OTHER than Gr. Ch. Mayday ROM?

    For catch weight, the best 3 i've seen were Norrod bred dogs. Very powerful animals. JMO

    I saw a good one a year and a half ago, heavy Norrod bred dog with OFR stuff on the bottom. He was a 57-59 conditioned, i dont know what ended happening with him.

    Oh half, maybe that is why is was CW is because of the other half.........:)

    If i'm not mistaken, his bottom half had about 1/4 of the OFR. The rest was Norrod, i'm actually trying to contact the guy to see what ever happened to Skeet. i dont kow much about the Norrod stuff, him and his siblings were the only ones i've seen in person, to my knowledge anyway.

    Catch weight:::::

    How many of you know what that means?

    Most will probably think dogs that condition 52+ lbs.

    Wrong......
    Catch weight means this and this only,
    2 dogs coming in at different weights.

    Some times it is agree upon and others times it can be open weight between condition dogs.

    In others words 1 @ 43 and the other 45 LB.
    Or either can come in at any weight. 39 into 51.
    So long as they are conditioned with prearrangement on amount, date and rules.

    Most of the time it is pound for pound.
    There has been times where they weren't of the same gender.
