  1. AGK - some people breed match dogs, and their logic on schooling might've been different, as they primarily cared about winnings, titles, and campaigned animals so they could charge a stud fee and produce shit. A loss to their wallet meant they'd make back their money eventually.

Way back when, we bred game dogs.

Some people get that point, some don't.

You either produced game dogs, or you did not, and those who needed to know did. And they took our stuff and would try their own crosses.

Again, it all depends on whether you fancy game dogs or match dogs. Now don't get me wrong and say one can't be the other...there's always been plenty of match dogs that showed deep gameness. People just don't risk betting on a plug if they couldn't pop a balloon. Get my point?

Frank - all's I can do is shake my head in disappointment when I read your posts.

    NOW AINT THIS SOME SPIT

    I know what I know

and I know who I know

my I deas may not be the same as yours but they work for me

and like I say pre 76 there is no need to school a dog for more than 30 min
long as he can take a beating and come back thats good enough for me

cause trust me school is a rough one just not a long one

while schooling you will have every chance to see a bad move if its gonna make one

but If im gonna take him all the way out it woulda been contracted

if he good enough to make thirty and scratch while chain fat he can get my bet

2,000 or 3,000 would easily get you a real deal hollyfield already done, proven and producing. That is a rediculous amount of money on a pup.

I would say the most I have seen hang it up has been between 1:30 and 2:00. now I am talking about real dogs not some bullshit bred crap. 30 or 40 is a real rank curr Hell that was the problem i had with boyles dogs is the stuff was stoping in 30 min Thats why we started adding the cowboy it seemed to give more bottem end. I think that is why R,B started using more Patrick in them himself.
