Please do not equate drinking and driving to the witch hunt with the dogs.

In one hand you have a grown human being who is choosing to drink and then drive themselves home, regardless of it being illegal and dangerous.

On the other hand, you have someone who owns dogs, loves them and devotes their lives to them being accused of illegally fighting dogs simply because the HSUS wants to eliminate our dogs.

Plus, isn't drinking and driving like the #1 cause of traffic deaths in America? They must be swallowing that mouthwash.....

You're kidding right? Let me guess, you just read your copy of "How To Sound Like a Complete Clown," and are just practicing the punchlines, right? Ridiculously tough? I mean, maybe if you're freshening your breath with Absolute Citron-you might have a point. However, perhaps if two friends of yours were nearly killed, one still permanently maimed, by a drunk driver who decided to continue his Thanksgiving day partying on the Long Island Expressway, perhaps you would be a bit more careful about which hole you talk out of.

OJ, Brittney, Linzy, and a long list of others are examples that $$ is all that matters in our legal system. I don't think Linzy made it out of the prision waiting room when she completed her 30 minute sentence for her second drunk driving conviction.

Wasn't Paris sentenced to a week in Jail but called it off on day 2? She said she couldn't cope and just went home lol.

The call probably went something like "Daddy, about that other couple of hundred thousand we thought we could save by me sleeping here for a week....ain't going to happen, send a driver and make sure he has my credit card with him, I forgot it when I left".

As for the comparing drunks and "the witch hunt" I did laugh at the responces :-)

indeed- and i agree 100% he was at fault
but there is a cetain bottom feeder type of lawyer out there that has made it precedent that victims bring these acts upon themselves, as they themselves were breaking the law ( i.e. their logic is that if Reyes wasnt jaywalking, he wouldnt have been hit) i dont think its right- but it does matter in the court of law. just another problem w/ our country that is only going to get worse

omg! did he just equate drunk driving to dogmen being robbed of their right to own their property. yeah the drunk driving thing is a touchy subject for me. all it takes is for you to live w/ the guilt of knowing that if you had just made 1 call you could've saved a life. that stuff will eat at you. and no i don't think valuing human life above the life of a dog makes anyone a pu$$y.

at least the nfl sees that 30 days is a joke. that'll definitely hurt is pocket book. kudos to goodell for stepping up and holding players accountable for their actions.
