I know the game probably should be sold and not told but can someone be cool enough to take a second and tell me how to set up a spring pole setup??
Ive hung bike tires from a tree but i want to do it the right way.

Im unable to get my hands on any good literature no book store in this whole city has a good PitBull book theyve been black listed somehow. I didnt think things were that bad.

  2. It depends, you can go to lowes, or home depot get a regular door spring, cotton rope, 2ft of chain, three carabineers, one snap carabineer and two locking carabineers. From a tree or from a post you can get creative with it. Last but not worth it buy one from the bullyhouse

what i've done (and it worked GREAT):

pound an axle into the ground, leaving it about 6 inches above the ground. i then took an old collar and put it around the axle. i used two wheelbarrow tire inner tubes and hooked them through the collar. then i took a length of rope and tied it to the inner tubes, then the hide to the end.

so from ground out it was axle -> collar -> inner tubes -> rope -> hide

none of her feet EVER leave the ground this way. that's something i believe firmly in. she would work "up" the rope when i had it suspended from an old swing set with the swings all removed, and then was only on two feet. so i tried putting it on the ground, and have never looked back. she won't work "down" the rope any more with it being her level....she has to have a mouth full of hide.

and i also find the inner tubes have enough give when she is hard at it. i'd rather have rubber snap as opposed to a spring break if something decides to give. just try a size and see if it works for what you got.

i'm sure there are folks who have had actual springs on their setups for years on end and have never had a problem, but that's something i'll never think differently about.

to each their own, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? ;)

It's not mine but you could make one cheap enough. Just rough estimate, the material and add 3 ft to what you think it will take to construct and then take the material to your local welder it will be hundreds of dollars cheaper! , than to buy one! better yet take him the pic and say," i need one of these built!"

there is about 33ft in square tubing needed to build one roughly anyway with the 3 ft extra, and the tubing is probably 2''x2''raw," about 2/8's thick (the side of tubing)"
