There are several different lines to choose from. If you would be a little more specific as to what direction you are looking, you might get more reply's.

One of the oldest... Colby.. you'll find a ton of history if you look into the colby line, and the colby family is still producing dogs today

I was always taught and I still believe this what's good in keeping something pure just for the sake of keeping something pure? Breed great dogs to great dogs for what's the point in having it "pure" if it can't do the job at hand, we put an artificial importance in the names that own the dogs or the lineage all going back to the same dogs. The saying good dogs are where you find them isn't just some saying. But with that said we all like a tight pedigree if bred the right way but me personally I like a tight ped in the back of the ped and "looser" up front I like 50/50 crosses of two tight lines and I like loose line/family breeding and I like down right inbreeding but the notion of keeping dogs pure for just that sake or to sell "pure" so and so's IMO is silly, but applying common sense breeding practices is the way to go. Best to best....

But to your question online ped # 258521 is a dog I own, some of the oldest blood you'll find up close. But far from pure.

Bloodlines are only "pure" on a "name"..example= Carver, Patrick, Sorrells, Colby, Hammonds, Heinzl, Lonzo, Boyles ect ect .. there is no such thing as pure blood.. you can not breed a male to a male nor female to a female to get "pure blood" .. try to seek out the best representatives your choice breeder has produced from his program and go from there, it's really all you can do.
