it's sad to see people selling puppies like their selling cars at an auction, who ever with the most money can get it. what makes it even worst is they all have different prices like one is better than the other. i know everyone does some stupid things every now and then, but you have to stop and think sometimes. where do you draw the line?

do the words "puppy mill" ring a bell....these people are definately breeding several females all at the same time, and at every heat they are in it only to make money and they probly do since they dont spend any on quality health care. this is why pits get a bad rap....so damn sad.

 

This is sad....that you have nothing better to do than to criticize someone who you know nothing about. When pit bulls are sold for cheap, they are treated cheaply. Not only are pit bulls worth a lot of money, more expensive pits are less likely to be thrown into pits with the owner not caring if it makes it out alive. More expensive pits insure that the new owner has the funds and will to care for the dog. Small "foo-foo" dogs are sold for much more and nobody seems to have a problem with that.


Find something better to do with your time than to find web sites by people you don't know to criticize.

I doubt these "people" give a shit about where the homes are or what kind of homes they go to. THAT has nothing to do with $$$ - it's what goes in there pockets.

 

I guess you obviously know so much about these dogs that you can command others on this board that have been in these dogs for years. Also, the "pits" that are sold for "cheap" most of the time are worthless mutts unless of course you are aquainted with a good dogman. And your comment about "expensive dogs won't be in a pit". Do your research, pal, good gamedogs, CH, or Gr Ch, can be worth unmentionable amounts of money. So learn a little before you come on here bitching!

well, i'm guessing this was meant for me sooooooooo i'll just start by saying this, next time you feel the need to open your mouth DON'T or atleast THINK before you do. I won't jump on you like you did me " a person you know nothing about" but I will say this, if you believe a dog is better than another dog just because it cost more........ you are as stupid as the people that is auctioning off their puppies. I didn't find that website I picked up a piece of paper in a store that said " pitbull puppies for sale" and the only info on it was the web address, so I figured i'd take a look. maybe next time you should ask a question instead of making dumbass comments. and as far as your "foo-foo" dogs go, if I would have seen someone using them as a auction, than I would have posted that too.

now that I think about it, maybe you are the one that's auctioning off the puppies to the highest bidder, is it you?

yes, it was my first post because i have better things to do with my life. Why don't you try e-mailing the person who you all are talking about so badly and find out some info because right now, you're all just talking out of you ass. Nobody knows this person or their situation or what kind of care the dogs are getting. Ask....then do all the talking you want. Right now, this forum couldn't mean less to its readers.
It is a source of entertainment, though. As for the dogs...cudos if you think you're helping them by running your mouths.
(People get so defensive sometimes. It's actually quite funny.)

another thing that is sad is that i went to the website and signed their guest book with questions about the parents of the pups and with comments about breed standards, i left my name and my e mail address and they neither posted what i wrote or e mailed me the answers to my questions.

Hmmm.. yes, post the website, I'd like to look through it and make comments to the owners of the add. Doesn't matter what the situation is if they are "auctioning" off the dogs to the highest bidder they are being IRRESPONSIBLE. Are they screening the new owners? Doesn't seem like it since its to they go to the highest bidder. But hey, I'll look at the site, and email to find out the whole "story".. You've posted 2 times now and both posts have been critical....hmm....I feel your just as guilty of " running your mouth" as anyone else on the site.

well, well, well... now I see the light... I could see where you would think they were responsible breeder...*rolling my eyes here* with all the health testing they have done, and posted on the site, they very detailed description of the birthing process of the pups which clearly states that one pups took over 4 1/2 hours to deliver (too long to be very safe in my opinion), no talk of vet care on shots or worming... and they must be doing something right because they are selling ALL of those 12 puppies..hmm guess I could see where you might think they are responsible people and we could get the wrong impression... And Merles, which if you read back a few posts will tell you all you need to know about them, at that high of a cost.

This is EXACTLY the reason that APBTs are in danger of being banned. IRRESPONSIBLE owners/breeders who have pups from their dogs just to make a quick buck..
