this thing works but only with roof on it + the danger they jump up and stay hanging half way with one of their feets .
its the alternative for the real dog kennel with bars height 6 feet. 183 centimeter

    yes possible
but i think the 6.1 feet ( 2 inches between the bars ) are standard .
also with 3 inches between. way cheaper then the 2 inches but is not really working with pups .

Description of a cable run; 1/4 inch steel cable ,run around tree with a layer or two of black plastic pipe over it ,use two clamps . fashion a loop out of thick steel wire,I use the frames from political sign, could use rebar if you can bend it,this needs to be 2 feet strait measure, bend to a loop and use two more clamps the attach to cable about a foot or so from first two clamps, this is the slammer and you can replace when needed. reverse at other end and comealong fairly tight .runner is to be a bearing race, not a pulley.we use a shackle to attach strong chain to race, swivels and whatever at other end are the same as a good axle setup

puppdlr....do you have any pics of what you're describing? I'd love to do cable run setups when I have more room. I plan on doing all my homework then but since you described how you run yours, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if you have pics. Thanks for sharing either way!

I wrap the cable clamps with cheesecloth or a rag, then using black electrical tape I wrap it around into nice tight little ball, serves as bumper..
