    Hey everyone! Hows everything?
I just found this place and its looking interesting. Ive got 2 males and 1 female. Mugsy our black male is fighting cancer as we speak. More on that later. We had Jake for 15 yrs. We removed his sperm and have it on at the cyrogenic lab, We artificially insemenated Chanel and we got Mugy and Frank.
Thats a quick run down. I look forward to getting to know you all!

Nice to have you...Welcome. So tell me now about the dog with rust? This cancer is like a growing spot of rust on a car and is so hard to deal with. What is the prognosis and deal in this paticular case? Is the dog expected to be able to live a decent life or what? I had a couple dogs with cancer and at the drop of a hat... from the mention of the word cancer... it is a ? of euthanizing. So what is this dogs story and type of cancer etc? Now I am curious.

Heres the story, We had Jake a pitbull for 15 yrs, when he got older we had his sperm removed and have it stored, Later on we got Chanel from the "Brazilian Jujitsu Gracie Family" Chanel is Gracies daughter. We had her inseminated and we had 8 8 pups. All of which were given to great homes of our choosing. We kept Frank and we kept Mugsy. There both 7 now and the best 2 dogs in the world. 2 months ago Mugsys lymnoids all swelled up and was diagnosed with Lyphoma, We have been working with Dr Sullivan at Washington state univ to do a Bone Marrow transplant on him. We need remission though and all thew chemo we have tried is not working. We had a biopsy done to test all chemo drugs on the infested cells and found 3 he responded to moteratly. 2 have not worked and now we hit him with a strong dose of the 3rd. He is really down. I feel so bad. we are told we will no by the 11tah day its been around 7 days. He doesnt no whats going on and we feel so bad for him. If we cant get remisson
there a dbl transplant option but its 45k. the single transplant is 25k. mY wife is completly devistated and spends all her days with Mugsy. This is so very hard, Chanel is my baby and I would just lose it mentally if anything happened to her so I feel for my wife. These 3 dogs are so loyal and so there for us. 24/7 these dogs our a huge part of the life we know.
If anyone has any ideas or knows anything I dont about this please step up. I cant let Mugsy suffer for much longer. The clock is ticking.

    Welcome to the site.
I understand as well as everyone here, how you feel about your dog. I don't have any advice to give you, but I have a personnal experience to share.
i used to have a black female which became sick at the age of 12. She had several tumors. She shared her bed with a younger female. We treated her until she showed us that she was really suffering. I thought it was unhealthy for the younger dog to co-habit with her, and with great sadness I decided to euthenize her at the vet. I then took her home and burried her some nice place in the backyard.
Since then I have burried several other dogs and have assisted to the putting to sleep of a few. I have always cried a lot. I consider each one as a member of my family. They haven't decided to live with me, so I think I owe them the best treatment possible. I don't suggest you should put down your dog, but you know a dog likes to play, eat, be with the members of his family... So once he suffers too much and that there is no way he can improve then.....

Robert I totally agree, Once he cant chase the birds and run freely I have no choice.
