My living nightmare....Miakoda's dead......

Oh my gosh I am so so so sorry. I cant believe what a terrible nightmare that must of been and still must be. I am so sorry. I hope you recover swiftly and I am so happy Cole is safe. I wish that bastard would rott in jail. I am truly sorry to be reading this. I know how much you love that dog.

 

i just read this thread and i am so upset and outraged. it sounds like you have a friend/lawyer close by, but if i can do anything at all let me know. i know that nothing can ease your pain right now, but i'm praying for you and your baby girl. we'll keep fighting and keep her memory alive.

 

OMG Mia i am sooo sorry to hear about your loss! That is a terrible story and I pray that you get straighten out. I can not believe that, the S.O.B got a shot gun. and it was his dog that was off the chain. That is some bullshit. I am so sorry

Im so sorry for your loss mia no words can express the sympathy I have for you I dont want to sound like an ass but did you have a break stick with you ? it may have helped the situation and gotten her off the lab very quick I always carry one when walking my dogs for thios exact reason

Mia... we need the addresses of where to send letters and phone numbers to call ASAP. I'm sure they will all be hearing from us about this case. I know you're working on it and are capable of handling it, but I'm sure ALOT of members would like to voice their opinion on it. Fight your ass off for that leash law, the way I look at it is if AC catches a dog running loose put it down point blank it will stop ALOT of the problems we are having with these dogs, that goes for cats too. Charge the owner $500.00 fine to take care of expenses of putting them all down, just in case they can't find said dog's cat's owner. AC wants donations, well this is a way to take care of their problem if owners knows they're going to be out of pocket big bucks and their animal it should stop a lot of this same problems.

Mia has ask to take some time off and I've told her to take all the time she needs she has said to tell you ALL she appreciates all the thoughts and prayers, she needs to get away and get her thought processes in order to fight this fight... right now shes in shock and needs to regain her senses to be able to do this right, she will be away from the PC for awhile and the phone she says you can email her and if she gets time and is up to it she'll answer you but let her rest if you can... she will be back in full force in a few days, she just needs some time to get it right is all

This kind of thing breaks my heart on so many levels. My anger, and sorrow for what you have just gone is unimaginable. Mia, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Reading your story broke my heart. This is one of my greatest fears. I'm going to have my family read this story to hopefully open their eyes to the realities and realize that I'm NOT overprotective of my dogs. Being on the other side of the country there's not much I can do, but I will do what I can just ask.

Yes, please do give us the information to contact the local papers and authorities. I'm sure you are quite capable of making yourself heard. Not only do we want to back you in this 110%, but there is power in numbers. People NEED to know what we, as pitbull owners, face on a daily basis. Your situation is very unfortunate, but even worse it is not uncommon.

wow that is sooo messed up. I am so sorry about Miakoda. I hope that bastard Lab gets PTS. You know had the roles been reversed your dog would have been dead by now. Not no oh 10 days and you can have it back. I hate labs.

I know everyone is upset but this is one lab in the hands of a irresponsible owner. Blame the deed, not the breed...when Miakoda posts up where we can write and call, take out your anger in that way....

 

My heart is broken for you and that little boy..You know I thought Miakoda was such a treasure. I am going to do some research and talk to some folks in LE and see what options there are...Mia get a good attorney.You know this is such a sensless loss...I hate irresponsible people.
