Good if you're wanting a pet or show dog... not if you're wanting a true APBT.

 

I am seeking a true APBT but from all my research all i can find localy is thoose bulldog/pitbull mixes that are 95pds short with big heads which is not what I want. I want an athletic dog

 

Well if it's info on kennels and apbt's you can find it here on this forum , just use the search feature. BUT , i would advice you to be very prepaired for a true bulldog , and do some research before you go out and buy one , beacause these dogs are a handfull , and they need a firm hand to guide them , and an experienced owner . IMO if you are looking for an athlete, Allegheny would not be the way to go, since most of their dogs seem to be UKC show dogs.

If you're looking for a game bred dog & find anyone in your area, try contacting your local ADBA club or getting a subscription to the Gazette. You should be able to find breeders of game bred dogs in your area there.

it depends on what your talking about. either gamedogs or showdogs. but that fits the showdogs column. i live in philly as well but south. i have game dogs not show dogs tho.

 

if you are lokking for an athletic dog allegheny isnt the way 2 go they are ukc bred. find an accountable breeder with accoutibe bloodlines and prepare to spent a couple thousand.

 

There is a breeder here in Ohio with NICE gamebred dogs that just had a litter drop. I can give you his number in PM if Ohio isn't too far for you. I have a dog from him and she is just amazing.
