So Excited

Guess what? Ok, I'll tell ya. I'm going hunting for the first time on Friday! I'm so excited. It's bow season here. Been practicing this week. Taking hubby's crossbow. I'm so psyched! I'm hoping I at least see something. Wish me luck!

 

oh shit yea, i've been doing some hunting already this year. the bow season in PA opened 2 weeks ago. Me and a couple of guys got 2 does this past weekend and i passed up 2 smaller sized bucks, still hunting the big MOFO in my local woods. Listen Blaizen there is a good chance u will get into somethin this weekend because the colder than usual weather is making the deer go into pre-rut real early this year, shoot i spotlighted the other night and saw 2 young bucks sparring already, its gonna be a crazy year, good luck

 

Yea, I've noticed that. Its been in the 40s in the mornings and at night here. I'm going in the late afternoon early evening. I've seen some big ass doe around. My cousin just got a 6 point up at my pop pop's. That's where I'm going. Someone gets one every year there.

Hey guess what he is actually hunting an even bigger one this year, i saw pics of it from his trail camera, its a monster

 

BlaizenJ!! You look so tiny in your gallery...I tried to use my husbands bow and I couldn't even pull it back...much less shoot it well enough to hit the broad side of a barn! Well happy hunting and I hope you bag a good one!!

Speaking of... last night on the news, I saw a turkey that had an arrow sticking right through it's body... and the darned thing was pecking around and doing normal turkey stuff - living life with the rod of an arrow through it! LoL

 

damn why can't my girl be more like yawl 2, she has a damn lab and don't like hunting, shoot i better start shopping around lol nah just playin (but not really lol)

Good luck Its is good to see more Girls hunting. My ex wife hunted with me all the time. I still miss that about her (thats all I miss LOL) I am a hunting guide and love teaching the girls.. YIS J

good luck whether you get one or not,,,, one these days i'll post a few pic's of a few good'ens ,,,, got a few video's,,, just be patient and it'll work out,,,, but remeber this,,when you really want to get down just give yourselfe another 15 minutes,,, it takes alot of time and patients,,,,, but i quit hunting 2 years ago,,,, where i hunt you could sit and watch 30 deer every morning and evening in front of my stands,,,, no sport in it,,, hell,, my son just had his 6 birthday and took his first deer all by hisself,,,,we wasn't there 30 minutes,,,, he got lucky with his first shot into both back knees,,,but i killed one that morning with 7 inch brow tines,,,and 22 inch across

 

Just got home a lil while ago. Got a big ol fat....NOTHING! I didnt even see anything. I stayed out for almost 3 hours, it was just to windy and cold. I need to get me some long johns. Maybe next time.

 

oh and i forgot to tell you this the more comfortable you are the longer and easyier it is for you to stay,,,, you can always be to warm but if your cold then your downright miserable,,, gortex my dear gortex

Keep at it I bet I went hunting 7 or 8 times before I ever saw the first thing. I can't wait for gun season to start up here.. its coming soon.. there's a buck I see almost every morning in the soybean field next to my yard.. freaking thing looks like a horse with antlers. If I get half a shot I'm gonna have a freezer full of meat and a show piece on the wall!
