they are ok. if you are going to do raw, either do www.omaspride.com or just toss the dog a half chicken and other meats... its cheaper to go to the butcher and get chicken, beef, etc ... the premade raw is more expensive... at Save A lot i could get 10 lbs of chicken thighs for .10cents a pound.. that is pretty good deal...

  2. How about hunger level? With no kibble, I'm worried about my dog feeling 'full' if that makes sense.

Can dogs survive on meat alone? With the patties, they have 5% veggies/fruit, do dogs need that?

I give 1/2 a patty once a day along with the kibble. Seems to be working well for her. :)

I was giving that stuff when I was feeding NV. I can tell you Loki thought it was the shizzle, and I got really great results from it. I had to stop simply because of the price.

I feed RAW & yes, dogs get full without kibble. I feed mine around a pound of meat, eggs, yogurt & cottage cheese a day. I sometimes feed veggies, not always. Some people who feed RAW feed veggies, some do not, it is whatever you prefer to do. Plus it is MUCH cheaper to do it myself than to feed a pre-packaged RAW food. ANd I know exactly what they are eating & where it came from.

We fee that stuff along with Kibble. Kibble in the morning, raw at night. Stockey LOVES it.

You may start noticing some changes in you dog. It's the detoxification. Some get it worse than others and some show no signs or hardly any. Keep an eye out.

I feed NV raw and have good results with it. I feed Canidae in the morning and raw in the evening.
