    Thanks.

No worries, these last few Reid topics have been the most active the board has been since the price of a puppy thread stalled out a few weeks ago. It's all good history. I appreciate getting to learn it from people who where actually there and around them dogs.

There was always an edge around them, sort of made it exciting, especially after the NKK incident. No matter what we may think of them (minus Slimey) they were competitive and not easy to beat.

I knew Buck and Dina-mite aka Tiger. If memory serves me right Nathan was a good weight pulling dog that did well. But I could be mixing him up with another dog.

You're right blueboy Nathan was a PBA weight pull dog in the 1980s. He looked like a typical dark brindle Skipper dog.

This was taken from PBN, can't remember the date? Always thought maybe after seeing Scotsman's CH. Max go into Northern Lad's CH. Billy, Joe Graham (gentleman) felt some people might benefit from the image of what a proper conditioned dog looks like.. Sorry about poor photo quality!

Not a whole lotta difference in the look of the pics of Max. I woulda never guessed 14lb based on those pics. Probably the brindle mixed with an old ass camera

Max again sitting close to show weight.. IMO still looks weak on back end, but that could be result of earlier hip injury.
