I agree. Cool cars and all, but cut the “Ch Major” shit. Too many good/great dogs died NOT making rank for you to keep that one up. In that pic it looks like he was tangled in a chain and got some cuts. If you gone tell that story and keep it up, tell it to ppl that don’t know anything about these dogs. I get that. I understand that. But I can tell you this as a matter of fact , Major & Raven were always referred to as Dolan dogs. They came from winning Bulldogs. They were stacked up for the right gene pool which goes against everything mr. Lou Colby (rip) believed in as far as breeding the Colby line . But Lady Rampage, (rip) John r Colby, MBK/Scorpio, T.L. Wever, ect knew what gene pool they were after and bred to that standard. You mentioned in a post somewhere that you called Lou Colby about some dogs, I said that to say this, the first accidental breeding i had, was on Ravens 8th day in heat and on the 9th day I was taking her to Kinston North Carolina to breed that "Jeff Smith's" (Colby's Duke) That's right for all y'all that don't know Jeff had a pure Colby dog on his yard. He lost him a few years back and a kennel accident. However i sold a male pup to ,Pete Colby, / Danny Staggs, ( rip) Who was part of Old house Kennels and GR. CH. Beartrap. He wanted a Colby bitch, I wouldn't let Molly go. Due to a breached pup only 3 survived Molly , Rifle, Krito. 2 of the 3 made the grade. 2cd litter, John R .Colby bought 2 pups from me, I was honored and humble in all honesty I offered Jack a pair for free. He sent me 500. 00 a pup plus shipping. Pete Colby Sr. Contacted me and wanted to buy Molly, I didn't want to sell her. He offered me 2500. and 3 pups from his 1st judicious cross. But I also gave him a car a 95 Oldsmobile Cutlass . I wanted to get back to the Colby family and I just felt like that was too much money. If you look at that pedigree noticed that Peter Colby Sr. Male, the sire, came from Lady Rampage,of Rampage Kennels. Townsend's Colby Copper.. same blood as my pair different Dams, however their belly mate sisters , Townsend's Delilah, and Townsend's Bodaci. Lady Rampage sent Jude along with MBK Scorpio , to breed with CH. Princess for two pups back. Jude was on her yard he was a good game dog but he lacked mouth. Everyone kept their word and that's how she got Bodica and Delilah . Rampage kennels was under investigation about the time I landed the pair along with a lot of other Kennels. She really had to clean up her yard and everything for that matter. Major was going to Big D, at Maniac . Raven was LR's personal pick., I had the insight the buy the pair. And the honor the sell pups / Bulldogs, off of my dogs to the actual Colby family. This woke me up to a serious fact. Why would Jack out of Texas contact me for pups? Why would pee out of New Hampshire contact me for pups ? Because back then and today it was the best living Colby blood available that they knew of. That still holds true today. I did the research I traveled 2000 miles to get them I knew what I was after and I wasn't disappointed. And to be honest I'm still not. Major was a champ in my eyes. And there's not a doubt in my mind that if I had a son a litter of pups to a powerful camp like the Chosen few, the modern-day Colby dog would have some real winners. Nott off the chain backyard local stuff, but I got a statement to make , there's nothing wrong with off the chain back yard local stuff as long as there winning !
