My everyday carry was 20 bucks but it also came with the brightest tactical flashlight I've ever owned so 10$ sounds about right.
Only people who have more money than they know what to do with would buy a knife like that. Not practical at all. More of just a collectors show piece IMO. I need functionality in a pocket knife. Not diamond encrusted. Lol.

The only knives I will spend some actual money on are ones to process game with.

In my home state you have to wear any Bowie knife, outside of your clothing in public. You can conceal a Bowie on your property. What’s a Bowie here? Basically a fixed blade that won’t fit in your pocket. I just go by “any fixed blade, keep it in the open.” A Bowie in your car glove compartment or trunk is concealed and illegal here. ALL pocket knives are legal as long as they fold, and fit in your pocket lol. Autos, switch blades, and butterflies are all legal here

I had a sweet ass Kershaw semi-auto that was like $80-90. It took about as much effort to flick it out as it took to give a good strong “thumbs up.” I miss that knife... now I buy whatever is sturdy enough to keep “ol so and so” up off me and won’t break...
