What's Cookin?

Made up some NY strip steaks for my daughter and I for dinner today. Got a side of oil & garlic potatoes and some strawberry delight for a dessert.

My food don't look nothing like my friends but we survive lmao...



Dogs got Turkey meat, satin ball and a soft boiled egg.

 

I love a good NY Strip....good stuff.

 

I love how the strawberry delight is the largest portion.

 

Couple racks and some backed beans on thw smoker..good stuff

 

Oven baked rabbit!

 

Is that really Rabbit lol???...or are you just having a joke???..ha,ha,lol.if it is Rabbit.what's the rub on it please??..it looks awesome!...dose it just taste like baked Chicken legs??

 

I gotta say again,that looks awesome.

 

More of a tender white meat flavor chicken flavor... I sauteed some onions, garlic, mushrooms and thyme! Poured it on top of the rabbit after I pan seared them. Placed in the oven on 350

 

That's awesome that...I think wild garlic and parsley would go nice in the mix to.....anyways I'm of to go and try catch some Rabbits.Y.I.S.

So I cooked dinner tonight for my daughter. We agreed to do a late dinner around 9:30pm since I had made Pancakes and sausage for a late lunch at like 3pm. Anyways, the brat went to bed while dinner was cooking. Steak and eggs in the morning it is. For myself though I thoroughly enjoyed destroying this Black Angus NY Strip with chicken and broccoli rice and brown sugared carrorts.



Now that I'm stuffed to the gill it's time to unwind with a movie and some medicine. This evening I've grinded up the last of my gorilla glue on the left and the last of my girlscout cookie on the right. Lets see how stoned I get when while mixing the 2 shall we. Lol

 

AGK someone needs to show you how to cook a REAL STEAK!!!! What in the hell is on top of it? A sauce?

Lol it's snowing here so they go in the oven instead of on the grill. I'm one of those odd northerners that won't stand out in the cold to grill lol. It's A-1 sauce.

Yea I'm jealous of those who can just go to a dispensary and pick out whatever they want. It's getting here eventually but damn if they aren't dragging their feet on this recreational bill. It's pretty much decriminalized here. Anything under 32 grams is a summary offence. Most everything I get though is coming from Colorado and Cali. Pa is just missing out on millions in revenue. We're also one of the last states to still not allow sunday hunting. This place sucks. Lol.

 

I have actually never been to one. Heard they are really expensive.
