what do people think of riskys staffords been told there one of the best in england real deal staffords with the heart and mind of staffords many many years ago whats peoples thoughts

 

go on the riskys site , the dogs look shit hot , but they openly admit that they try to breed dog friendly old time staffords.they are A frame , weight pull dogs par excellence they sure do look the part though ,as for the best in england ,?:dogkiss:

i'm pretty sure you can contact Gary and ask the man directly (he's got a an email address on his webpage). he'll be the best person to tell you about his own line, pros and cons. then you visit his kennel, see the dogs and judge for yourself

 

I don't know about real deal. But they are nice healthy pet quality dogs. I have seen and watched them pull, lure course in the UK real nice guy to chat to also.

 

thanks for replys had pits most of the time still got one but the breeder i got him from is no longer in the dog game and he was the only one i new in england so im looking in to getting a well bred stafford with oldtime qualites ill give riskys a bell

I think if you can let 2 or three adult staffords run about together, they don't have the traditional SBT temperament , climbing trees , chasing a lure, doing a frame ,, any average breed can do these things , they are meaningless , and if they don't have traditional SBT temperament , what is the difference with athletic or KC show dogs ,, ?

 

I agree...there's many "healthy" or "athletic"breeds of dog what can do that stuff.doesn't mean a god dam thing...and lol.if three of the dam things can all run round and get along all nicey nicey.then that speaks louder then words about how good they are..Staffords(real Staffords,not ones what all run round together.lol)are basically extinct.......and lol.some kc.versions can run a lure or aframe.so what's the diffence??..there is none!!... all of them(risckys or k.c.)are cur bread...

I suppose there been bred for show so long it's changed them so much I was told aswell the riskys have got the real Stafford temperament the person who told me must have it wrong most of the time I suppose you cross them to there bigger cousin to get a bit better one i now of some good ones but there not pure but I don't care to much about pure but it would be nice to see a pure Stafford that's got the ability and temperament of old

 

I don't think you'll find any ,,only the SBT bred for kc standard , or bred for climbing trees and racing , ,, if you want to win races ,,they will soon have whippet added ...

 

So dusty are you saying there's know Stafford today with correct temperament
