Young Prospects.

    I already own two Patterdales, sisters that have had a decent first season behind them. I've recently just got 2 half brother's of there's, hope for good things for these two.

    The sire is of Nuttall/Wheeler breeding and the dam is off a line from Wales that are big, strong fell types bred for the bigger stuff.

    Very strong area for the patts south wales,the lads who have them keep theirselves to thierselves,do their own thing,and would spew at the thought of being profiled in some terrier book.One so called legend was always pestering a freind of mine for dogs,until he was politely told to fuck off.

    In the early 2000's I was down in Georgia and saw two of these dogs in action. Both were black, one sort of wire haired and the other had a little curl.

    The curly male was as cute as a button. Sweet a little dog as any one would ever want to own. Upon first reaction he was closer to a lap dog than a working dog.

    Then we went to the woods. That cute little puppy was nothing short of a murderer. I am not sure I ever seen anything that enjoyed working/killing more than that little dog. Absolutely fearless.

    My buddy bought one sometime later and I kept it here while they were on vacation. I let him run around in the yard one night and he perked up and sprinted to an outbuilding. He went under and it was the damn-est scrap ever heard. A short time later he emerged with a possum in tow.

    He was a Nuttall/Mason bred dog.

    Nice pups.
