For history id go for plummer. Just too much bad reviews by hunters in regards to sean. Never read his book but read plummers book and work them hard treat like heroes by david harcomb.

  7. I would say the Felll terrier by Plummer and the Patterdale terrier and the Middelton working Lakeland by Frain.are brilliant for the history and geographical locations,of the different strains of fell terriers.in fact the 3 books seem very accurate.............as for any other Plummer books.they seem a bit crazy.don't no about any other Frain ones........the Harcomb books are awesome.so are Darcy's.........Jonny Blucks, digging the dirt volumes.I find quite interesting to.................
