Discussion in 'Staffordshire Bull Terriers' started by Mr Brown, Feb 1, 2018.

  1. David is this rear?or have you seen that quite a bit?I have seen males that would go with bitches(and vice verser)but they would still mate when the bitch was ready(with out to much fuss).......by the way it must of been hard work trying to breed them well done!

I am told by others (have never talked to him myself) that he thinks him self pretty hot shit and is very rude and ignorant. For example my brother was set on getting a dog from him and gave him a call he tried talking to him about dogs and he acted rude like he had better things to do. Then my brother asked if he could put a deposit on first pick female of a upcoming litter and the prick told him I don't take deposits on dogs that aren't on the ground. So my brother said he would rather throw his money down than drain than give it to a stuck up prick like that. I personally think his dogs are better than your run of the mill staffy but still nothing to special. Other people I know have had similar opinions as well about game staff. Give him a call see what you think, maybe he was having a bad day but I doubt it.

The black dogs would swap it out and dominate the other dog the whole time in the []. Both of my dogs had a mouth like an alligator. My red Eli dog had a different style all together Whatever he grab that was it he would go limp the other dog would chew on his head or whatever he could get to chew on and after trying to get him off he would tire out then the Red dog would start shaking and wreck the other dog. Yes Eli my favorite bloodline.

Eli dogs range in different sizes. I had a Eli dog that weighs 37 lb--and he was ball of fire. My choice is Eli dogs. There are other great lines of Bulldogs to I just prefer Eli dogs.

  13. I love the small one's. The big ones are just to much of a dog,it's hot over here and the big one's are hard to keep low key.......your choice of blood is awesome!... By the way what other lines do u like?..and if u had to pick one what wasn't eli bred, what would u choose?...

  15. Well some times its just where you find them.had a male whos sire was from show stock and the dam was just a pet.bought him because i liked the shape of them and temperment was good.grew to be around 17inch and came in almost constantley at 38/39lb infact sometimes felt he was too lean but had endless stamina moved like a cat.great muscle tone.but no matter how i tried hated anything that moved apart from people and my bitch.even had to keep him away from his own pups.kept him fit running for rabbit, ball and around 6 miles walking a day but in hindsight he mustve been doing more for when i was in the fields he would bolt way ahead then come back even tho i was moving in one constant direction unless something else was spotted with four legs in the distance then it was a race to catch up before he caught it.reading back on others posts i dont think english bulldog has been added just think its because of not being worked and bred for particular look over working prowess its caused deteriating factors in lots of breeds. show bred vs working bred.as for whippet i reckon in some strains of staffs their wouldve been whippet blood way before a breed was developed.back when they were bull & terrier and possibly after.i dunno if brockstock blood will still be around in the usa but these dogs were although many gens seperated down from the irish bred dogs.also i dunno if its up and running still but the old country blood facebook page had great info on the working strains of staff old and modern and the owner also produced a book called old country blood highliting many great breeds among them irish bred staffs, working ebt, glen of immals and irish wheaton terriers.plus the dutch have a following of certain irish strains and maybe a few italian breeders.
