TG Pup Bloodline

New to the forum and new to APBT's. I purchased a dog from TG and I am a little confused on the correct bloodline. When I asked TG if it was Eli, he said more or less. So maybe that's my answer but I wanted you guys opinion. Father is CH Dexter and mother is Miss vengeance off of GD CH Caesar and vengeance.

How is the temperament of the pup so far?

 

Good. He's 4 months old right now. Just now got the bitting under control. Nothing too bad but when he gets fired up, he can be a little nippy.

No offense but it doesn’t matter what bloodline it’s from. Sounds like you bout a pup from TG because it was TG. You should have known the blood of the pup BEFORE you purchased it. Tom gave you the right answer. Anything else might confuse you. How much research, real research, did you do before the purchase?? Honestly, just enjoy the pup. Bloodlines are only for bragging rights and breeders

 

Maverick is more of a Boze dog with a some Eli

 

I have heard that Frisco dogs can be shy towards people. However I have no first hand experience so I don't really know shit!

 

If that is the breeding behind that pup then u got a nice pup on your hands. And yeah if u didn't know the history behind it then TG's answer of "basically" was sufficient and meant not to confuse ya as others said. Either way, u gotta nicely bred pup. Might turn out to be a good dog. Some are implying that you shoulda asked those questions before you got that puppy, and they're right! But at least you're asking now, so that shows a step in the right direction. Do some research and enjoy your puppy!

 

Never Never deal with a blood line with temperament problems or any dog from any blood line if he dont have a the temperament first. I paid big money to Europe for they best 2007 gamedog litter. I had the dog from 8 weeks old and he turned out like something i thought didn't exist but he was a terrible man eater i tried everything to curb this and they was nothing i could do. So at 2 year old it broke me but we took a ride to the vet and i said goodbye. I was in contact with the breeder and he was like in his European accent quote ( You know this is pitbull dog sometimes they get upset) And then it dawned on me i was talking to a Pat Patrick. Some people in the faternity over look temperament and this is the one single thing that will destroy the breed. ITS THE WHOLE DEAL OR NOTHING. Hey thats just me alot of guys here will start making execuses for temperament but thats them. If were going to build a bad ass fast car i dont want it hitting the highest speed and bursting into flames. Hey man i know you got a good pup im just anal about this shit.

 

I did a lot of research before I made the purchase. I wanted a Buck skin black mask dog and TG only had 3 at the time.

 

Miss Vengeance is what is writen on his ped. I ordered a 7 gen ped from Sporting Dog.

 

Not shy at all. Very out going towards people and strangers. He will bark at people from a distance though.

Thanks. Bane is his name. I had an Amstaff before that died about 2 years ago. I live in MD and it's hard finding a real APBT around here. All Bully dogs labeled as pits. My Vet didn't even know what he was. Lol.

 

We have the sane situation down here in the San Diego area. I dont even know if I have ever seen a real bulldog around here.

 

When I told my vet that he was the real deal, she said "I don't think I have ever seen a real apbt"

 

Damn it i want one now.
