    LOL With just a little bit of high steppin' and a tad of success, some get very public and somewhat delusional as to who and what they really are. If you fall for that shit and fail to look into the root of what is good, well.....it's on you.

    It is for her primarily, however I am not going to bullshit........ I am a prideful individual - not arrogant by any means, but I would like to have something of quality. Not saying that anything less than a dog from TCF is mediocre........ like you guys say, " great bulldogs are where you find them", but if you could afford a Ferrari would you drive a KIA ? Know what I mean ? Plus I am an extremely tenacious and high driven person. Exercise a lot, biking, mountain trekking, swimming the Chattahoochee upstream. Things that a more work driven bull breed would appreciate. Thus my appreciation for the game bred APBT.

    I hope you take no personal offense, Taz, but it seems to me that every reason you give for wanting a certain type of dog refers to your OWN fancy and not your daughter's. Are you sure this is a gift for your daughter or is this a rather vicarious thing? I'd be hard pressed to believe your daughter has these reasons to have the dog you describe as to what you say you are looking for.....for HER. LOL

    You make a very good point Rage . Hence why it has been over a year since Tazz passed and I still have not mad a purchase . As I have told everyone else, this is a serious decision that I do not take lightly . Tazz was a wonderful member of our family and will always be missed . 1/1,000,000 dog. However I would prefer something that keeps up with me a little better this time around . And yes, some of these reasons are for me as well.

    No offense take sir . I have my own reasons as well . I have been pondering the idea of possibly a Dogo. I am still reading up on the breed in order to learn more however what I have gathered so far I rather enjoy. Sporting dog, lots of tenacity but not the kind of prey drive that a APBT. This may possibly be the perfect fit. Only time and knowledge will tell.
