Roger on being sent, as opposed to being called. Never did see Pat step over the box with a bulldog in his arms. He did; However breed some good ones. My first time out with Ch. Uncle Bud we stopped a TombstoneXRedbaby dog in 51 min.

No, I don't. I do remember the date. It was May 19, 1982. He was a long limbed dog that had the same color as Uncle Bud. He was an amber red nose. Good looking dog.

Interesting development, I tried with my mongrel and yes she will scratch on command. All I have to do is hold her and then say "go" and she will go hard straight forward. Of course I've only done this with small game because that's legal. But she goes in a straight line and does not change direction unless the quarry does right in front of her. She a hard little dog but a cur, so I guess if that counts as scratching. She will also attack almost any dog that comes near her without detour so she needs secure containment. So imo yeah you could train a cur to scratch but good luck getting it to stay because after all it's a cur. That's common sense. Just thought I'd try.

Its possible to get the dogs trained to leave from between your legs when released its like training them for fetch but still the question is how long can it take what's being fetched I.e. that crazy mofo he scratching in to lmao

Fetch has nothing to do with being mans best friend and having a cool head in heated times to stay in command,,,
the same way shutzhund or any other attack dogs are trained for an example that counters the fetch aspect
and the reason I mentioned these type of dogs is because they are at war but still respect the comander...
