The sport of matching dogs is a felony here in the USA. However, in certain countries it's not. Top camps like The Chosen Few have some of The best bulldogs , handlers, nutrition, sports medicine , etc on the Planet ! Are they unbeatable ? No. If you are willing to be fair you will always have a fight in hand. It is a huge team effort to travel to other countries and match your hound . I am never going to be on that level, I don't even want to be. I'm a family man. Self employed, making an honest living. Yet I still want to get the best bulldogs on the planet available to me at a working man's price. Dogs are a hobby for me. I love a great deep game bulldog, that's willing to give me all he or she has. As I do the same for them. I am very aware of my place with these hounds An novice at best. Yet I must say I have had up to 33 hounds at one time, regrouped, started downsizing , put down a few litters over the years. I can say one thing that not many novices can say, John R. Colby himself bought a pair of pups from me a year ago. From my colby hounds i bought from Lady Rampage, (Rip) Townsends Major , and Townsend's Raven Oden. I was very honored when John R .Colby contacted me to say the lest .(Humbled ) So it all came about for my love of the breed.

 

It is very important many understand the laws in All or as many countries as they can and move pass the focus of what was way back when and eye that that Actually Is as best we can we dishonor the great dogs and humans that made what we love possible. And for What? So many are missing so much. Man That is an Honor. A great feeling when a breeder acknowledges your knowledge and ways Good Deal That says A lot. Breed few Breed True Breed Old School .

 

I just read the beginning of this thread and I just can't stand the fact that someone who purports to be so knowledgeable and experienced continually spells sense 'since' when referring to commomon sense.

 

Or when someone spells common "commomon" when ref. to common sense.

Well said, and so true. Bottom line is we are typing just an opinion or something that some of us have had some experience with concerning a thread. If a word isn't spelled correctly, who cares? This isn't a college course, this is a dog site. I have learned a lot from certain folks honest experience with this breed. I have also been able to purchase a few Real good hounds from the kennel section right here on gamedog. I also sold a few pups to good people right here on this site. I could easily get caught up in what's wrong, and miss what's right ! If you're looking for outstanding writing ability, and proper grammar, ( Nothing wrong with that ) One might want to go back to school. Online courses ect. If you want to learn and possibly contribute to the topic or thread were reading do so. If not, nobody really gives a fuck. Lmao. Dex
