FL: Hot car law passes Florida Senate, provides legal protections

Ah shit, this will just increase the already poor judgment most good samaritans possess especially those animal rights activists, meaning they will be breaking into everyones vehicle without any hesitation as long as there is a dog or baby inside without even assessing the situation first to see if the dog or child is in any real danger or distress.

I remember one experience at a Costco parking lot where this lady was all frantic because she seen a dog in a car, I told her the dog looks fine, but she wasnt hearing it...the owner came back within 4-5 minutes because she just went to buy a hot dog and soda. Imagine just going to buy a few snacks for a few minutes and come back to a smash window because some dumb ass good samaritan thought he was actually saving the dog LMAO.

Plus if you read that article it states that after you break into a person vehicle to rescue the dog then you should call 911 immediately after...Why after and not before? I will tell you why.....because if they were to call 911 first that would be asking permission to break into a vehicle and the city and state do not want to be held liable/responsible for giving an ordinary citizen permission to break into another persons vehicle.

Next thing you know they will be passing another law that will let any good Samaritan break into your home if they feel your dog or child could be in any type of danger/distress LMAO.

 

I wanna save their stereo too while I'm saving their dog

 

But officer for doing a good deed I felt I was entitled to a reward and the only thing I wanted at the time was his stereo LMAO.

But on another serious note by a good simaritan breaking into someone elses vehicle that would also make one LIABLE or responsible if anything else went missing from the vehicle wouldnt it?

That article also states that the good samaritan should wait there until the popo arrives, well guess what happens when you do the popos job and rescue the animal so that it no longer becomes the cops priority? That means you COULD have to wait a LONG time before some popo show up.

 

I think the essence of it is a good idea, as it allows one to take immediate action, if required, without fear of prosecution.(Afterall, it'll free up your conscience, instead of being placed in an apathetic situation, wondering how long has the caregiver/owner been gone for and hoping that the dumbass better hurry up cos sh*ts getting serious or else ya gonna have to wait to giv'em a piece of ya mind...lol...then if that ain't enough, ya can always tell the Popo you witness the tragic event unfold, but ironically being a law-abiding citizen, it hindered common sence so ya'll team-up and save the stupid f*cker from their ignorance by sending them on a government payed holiday to think about where they went wrong...lmao)...And if it turns out that you did in fact overreacted to the situation and became the unfortunate hero, well I'm sure the good samaritan within you would come to some sort of agreement with the vehicle owner regarding the cost of a mere window...or does it need to be written made law too.....(Alternatively, Disney or Hanna-Barbera could create a freedom fighter character called Lawless Renegade, who smashes windows and says "told you so muthafuckers" then holds on to his silly hat whilst clutching a broom before shooting for the stars....lmfao)

 

.. What happenes a if the dogs is agressive and as soon as u bust the window the dog jumps you or you release a protection trained dog without knowing there's a lot of liability here or said dog dies cause u let it out the car then got smeered all over the street

 

And I would just tell the police after I broke the widow to save our furry friend I noticed said stereo now being the great person I am I figured a broken windowed car with a stereo in it is asking for problems so I simply took it for safe keeping and forgot to tell the owner of said car simple mistake or the car was too hot for a CD player also

 

I totally agree with Treez on this one as they are trying to make like a dog is equal to a human.
