She didn't eat the night before, but was drinking, peeing, pooping. She ate that morning.

She was having a hard time breathing, so I moved her out to another room and put a fan on her until I could get her to the vet the next day.
Vet did xrays, in her chest cavity was a large mass, she went down hill at their office, and was euthanized on the xray table.

All very sudden and sad. She should no signs of being sick, nothing.

Wow, that is sad. I wasn't aware of her age at all, I figured she died of age. How old was she, V? Sorry to hear about how she went. She was well cared for and I'm sure she appreciated that.

    Thank you. She was eight.
She had a really hot heartworm positive and went thru the treatment when I got her five years ago.

I'm sure she would have lived much longer under your good care had this not happened all of a sudden. There's nothing that could be done that wasn't already done and I know she knows that. 8 years old is still a good, long life so I'd feel confident I did everything to give her the best life, which we all know you did. RIP Miss Choxie.

I'm sorry you lost her so quickly, these dogs often do not show when they are seriously ill. But she had a good life with you. Rip pretty Miss Choxie.
