Not sure where you heard that they are mostly show conformation dogs. OFRNR has tight standards, unlike the ADBA or other registries.
It is a registry that focuses on quality over quantity.

I think the ADBA has great intentions and is a group of many dedicated folks that help to show the dogs how they are. The top dog comp is getting huge..attracting new folks and converting show folks as well. Sure there is a dollar involved..but that is the centripetal force that seems to keep the world turning. Yes i did talk to you about getting a dog. when me you and charlie were all working together. all you had was nozom or what ever the dogs name is. and you was working on getting the bitch honey.
then you got brutus, but i at that time had spookie and pandora ,shit i had pandora for 2 years before that. the first time i spoke with you we were sticking pandora to brutus and i sent u a the pic.

now as for spookie and pandora, i had pandora for 5 years on my yard, and spookie for 6 and she is from the same blood as brutus.
