Lmao... U took the bulldogs to rabbit hunt? A beagle n a .22 is more than enough... If they would have caught that rabbit... It was fucked! lmfao

At first I thought they were on top of the rabbit, i was like damn that a huge ass rabbit lol. I've come across a couple wild rabbits on our walks and I so badly just wanted to let her loose. But, I know it would result in me chasing after her and we don't exactly live in a rural area

Agree. Let the dogs chase the rabbits that come up into the nets, but they should definitely lose some weight first.

This is what my bitch looks like now just scoping out the area I got me a pellet gun and its this big ass field in inbred Suffolk UK. There are fuccin hundreds of them around being that the only thing that is legal for your dogs to jump on out here are rabbits and rats.

KelvinJ you can also hunt Stoats and Minks I think and other Weasels. You can take Foxes too, but it has to be "By Accident" lol. Rabbits make decent food for Ferrets if you keep any or you can just give them to your dogs.

Yeah they are, but you get to work your animals (dogs and ferrets) and feed them too. All for free! I got a big freezer to store any surplus and that saves money on feed.

i do miss keeping ferrets, not only did feed us but they also supplied the dogs with one of the best barf diets out there, whole carcass rabbit , fur in all. my little bitch will pick up the odd squatter and green youngster while mooching about, loves working cover and flys to ground, well as far as she can, its great way to keep them ticking over.

Yep, totally agree with that and I'm a big fan or the barf diet but I think it's a good idea to give more than one meat source, I try for like 3-5 different meat sources a week. Also Orijen dog food is the best dry food I've ever tried and comes in 3 different varieties, so I rotate between them. Why don't you keep ferrets anymore palooka?

I also rotate my girl on Orijen, between their Six Fish and Regional Red. I feed some BARF model grind from Primal a few times a week. Hoping once i'm a little more educated and comfortable with raw i plan on making the switch.

Yeah Beatrix Orijen is a good one. I like the convenience of kibble and I can get a good deal from my supplier if I order in bulk, plus because of the quality of the food you don't have to feed as much so it lasts longer and saves some cash. It won't be ideal for everyone, that depends on how many mouths you have to feed, your budget, what deals you can get from a supplier and what you can catch with your dogs. Everyone has a different situation. My advice when feeding raw is to have a big freezer. I have one of those massive chest freezers you can hide a few dead bodies in

I hear ya palooka. City life isn't for me.

For that money you're spending on orijen you might as well buy the Nature's Variety RAW patties. At least it's RAW and no matter how you look at orijen, it's still kibble. JMO.
