Yep, stilling waiting. I like to see where everyone lands mainly to gauge playing time. Being an O's fan may take a flyer on urrita. Love the LF yelich in Miami had him last season has 20/20 potential if not more SBs. Pitching wise Eramosa in Seattle scared folks but think he will workout he will be a nice low flyer. Walker, archer, Cobb good young pitchers IMO middle infielders gennet and miller playing full seasons aught to put up some decent numbers and should be good risk plays later if you chase big name corners or starters in the early rounds. Texira may be a good lower corner due to injury potential. Then you got the flyers out on the mets log jam at first/outfield.

You playing head to head or rotisserie?

    Can't miss picks imo
    starters....price, velander, Kershaw Darvish
    1b.....miggy and prince
    2b....Phillips, kinipsis, pedroia
SS....hardy, Hanley(the numbers when healthy last yr were sick)
    Of.....Gonzales, puig, trout
Catcher....Perez on KC or lacroy mil

  4. Love Goldschmidt at first but he will be going too high in the draft. McCann at the dish with that short porch in left in the Bronx. Also, Pedro Alvarez at 3rd should really put up numbers like last year.

As far as pitchers, like Fernandez in Miami quite a bit. Also, think Ivan Nova and Cole from Pittsburgh will be very tough all year.

I have Fernandez and cole in my toto league last year. Problem with them is Run support and bullpens will sap wins. So they are going low. My moto in head to head is Whip K and Era. Holds are easy enough I am not wasting high pick for a crap shoot of win and saves. I will take those kids all day.

And segura at SS for Milwaukee he might be the next Hanley.

I refuse to draft Yankees so nova is no use to me. But liking Eric young and grander son on mets.

I been following the transactions but not rankings, there were so many I forgot like goldschmit and Fernandez lol thanks for bring this up Lakewood

What's your feelings on wheeler for the mets?

Third I am going machado again love the tools hope the knee is behind him.

Beltre aught to put up sick numbers too if fielder is behind him and choo in front.

  7. Die hard Met fan. Love the stuff on the kid. Don't like him coming out and saying he is going to be an all star this year. I think he will be good but the run support and bull pen will zap wins. His strikeout numbers should be real good though.

  8. Not as high on Machado. Think the 51 doubles was high for him. Had Beltre and Zimmerman last year. Beltre was real good. Think he is a bounce candidate as well as Chris Davis. Think Panda and Smoak are lower round options with better then last year upsides.

I'm a little nervous about the Matt Carpenters of this season. Think he is going to go higher then he needs to. Also looking for Castro and Rizzo to have big years for the cubs.

Castro had a poor year last yr, I was thinking the same sofmore slump, get him low. I like Miller on seattle at either 2b or short. too. Panda I hear cut some wieght and looks all barry bonds LOL

  10. I really don't know where to go pitching wise. I think Scherzer cannot pitch like he did last year. Hamels is already having setbacks. Verlander is ahead of schedule. Also, where do you rate Tanaka? They say this and that. Cash says he is the number 3 behind CC? That doesn't warrant the money that they paid him.

I think the Japs are worth taking in the middle rounds. The number 2 in Seattle should be better. The number 3 in Los Angeles, should also benefit this year. And, the Boston closer can be worth it as well.

Man for pitching my money is on Darvish and Price. If you want to go with a pitcher 1 or 2nd round I would go with either of them. later on I would grab any of the young guns. Walker, Fernandez, Cole, Wheeler, the guy cleveland called up.

I am interested in Brothers, and the guy on the O's....Also the guy the O's traded/released to the cubs, Pedro what's-his-name. I am cheap on closers....Holds detroits smyly.

  12. Had Darvish last year and he was real good. He ran out of gas late like Kuroda did for the Yankees. I'm not sold on Price. But, I will not be looking for pitching until the 4th round in my 12 team league.

Jonny Cueto should be good this year for the Reds after dealing with injuries all of last year. Another pitcher that is going under the radar is going to be Patrick Corbin who started last year like 10 and 0.

Hey lakewood I am reading and hearing that Matt Moore looks sick in his bullpen session. added velocity. good jump and break....He is deffinitely on my radar. I had him last season in my roto league, he racked up k's and w's for sure

  15. Moore, Cobb and Archer. Archer may have the best stuff out of them all. I'm in a bad spot picking 8th with my friend picking 9th. I've been doing mock drafts every night and kinda have to go bat, pitcher for at least the first 6 rounds. The problem being that my out field always comes up real lame.

I'm thinking when I pick, I'm going to have Chris Davis, Robinson Cano and Adam Wainright there. Kimbrall will be there as well but I cannot grab him 8th in a 12 team draft. I'm thinking taking Davis and coming back with an arm. I'm thinking Darvish, Greinke and Shurzer(sp) will be there. What do you think? Also, when it comes back to me, I take an outfielder and then an arm. Next, infielder and a closer. What do you think? Any help is appreciated M.

Of is limited I see more teams going 4 or 5 in rotation than 3 every days, same with DH. Going the way of the RB in FFB. Corners are the studs, IMO you have to play corners and starters at a premium fill in the gaps. Unless you try a up and comer at 3b....I had generally the same thing types up then got side tracked and my fuckin cookie expired wtf

  17. This year, I think it will be the outfields that are strong that win out over the teams loaded with aces. After you go past the Granderson's, Brandon Moss's and Nelson Cruz types you are really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Imagine having a team loaded with pitching and having an out field of Bj Upton, Brett Gardner and Mike Carp going against Mike Trout, Jose Babtista and Y Puig? I don't care who you are, your going to lose the majority of the time. After you equip with an infield, a catcher, a reliever and your starters, your done in by the outfield.

This is how I'm looking at the draft from the 8 hole in a 12 team league.

Just caught this....Fantasy Baseball Position Primer: Outfield | Roto Arcade - Yahoo Sports

What do you think about the O's getting Cruz, that aught to make Davis repeat better and Cruz could be unvalued hitting in the yard this year.
