Working staffys in America?

12 gage has nice working stock.and yes in the U.S.

 

I like the staffs to. I run mine on hogs too. And yes I would like to get another one soon But of working stock.

 

12-g+co....there is very good staff's out-there,as ya know ...un-fortunally,,ur wasteing ur time trying to tell some who never even seen a good dog,, never mind a good bull-dog...only have to see where he(b) has his head stuck up recently....lol..lol...

 

beginning 80 ties there was a real ch in the usa ...a am staffordshire ....
he was in the al the magazine's ..any way in the blood line's
he went staright for the balls ..fast as he could

probaly a am-staffordshire as i wrote.

 

Thier was a guy that came on this forum a while back and was using AM Staffs for catch work.He said his main Staff had caught over 100 hogs so far and he also said when he bred him he was throwing good catch dogs.Now I am not comparing this to box work. I love a good catch dog.

....well maybe ya have'nt seen many bulldogs.......there has/is good in both am-staff+staff who can/did hold their own againest there own+pbt's with no problems why???cause they were all bulldog......maybe ya need to do a-bit more traveling..now not many people keep or breed them,,why cause your right in saying the pit has the complete package.,,but don't think their not there.......

 

Blue i know what those dogs came from.And yes at one time they were good ones.Now if your saying that thier some people around that has kept them right .I have heard that but never saw it man.

 

Talking AM Staffs right now right?.I mean Earl Tudor played a big part in developing that breed and As far as I know they were never intended for the box.But as we have saw on this thread thier is documented proof of one in the 80s and I am sure thier were alot more.I mean you know thier had to be some good ones in the early stages of this breed .And yes some may have kept them that way.But now this is 2013 i mean how common would you think it would be.

 

....not very common,,,but they are there,,why cause there just bulldogs the trouble started when the show world came into being for the bull-dog.....if you look at the standard for the staff say in europe, it was the same as the usa, but then got smaller as time went on but kuckly there was those who kept there's true just like the what we have to-day...call it what ya want but a duck is a duck is a duck...luckly the usa is so vast,,they kept it to the proper standard,,but to think that others in the old world they did'nt ,,,,,well.............????????????????

i just wish more people with genuine interest in working staffs would get involved, there's just something really especial about them 25-35 lbs little devils i tell ya!

 

it sure does show Blue..we are a few pages into this thread and I havent saw but a couple Americans comment on this thread about working staffs being in America.But here you are commenting on what happens here from another country.Go figure?funny as hell to me..and 12 thier are some people or should I say old timers reading this from America not a diff country that knows the answers but they wont comment on this..But u may get lucky.I know them and they are here.I suggest if your looking for info on these dogs in America then you should put your effort in finding Americans.You have over a 1000 post and I didnt even know you exist.And here you are an American.Dont take it the wrong way but it just looks like your reaching for info but you havent taken the right direction to get it.Your in America my man .
