beanie staffords

I think the best line of Stafford today is the beanie line what's your thoughts are they still as good as they were in the nineties

Wonderful looking dogs. Love pure black Staffs. I have a relative whom had black Staffs for shows

 

im being sarcastic with the comment above. the dogs bred and kept like the ones above are among the worst things that happened to the breed

Lol 12 gauge if there wernt people breeding better Stafford we would be seeing only the black toads lol

 

I was aware of that and I do not in anyway support show dog Staffs, they have and continue to ruin the breed. However, the dogs in the photo are not bad looking dogs. I prefer the proper working staffs that reflect how the breed use to be.

 

The dogs in the photos are show stock. They are good show dogs no doubt and are good representatives for what they are bred for but i for one can't get excited about show dogs that don't have the tools that their ancestors had either physically or mentally. If i want to look at a pretty dog then there are prettier breeds than staffords so in reality the show stock are pretty much useless meat burners.

two of the worst things to happen to the breed for sure.

 

this line produced more quitters than most as well,the dogs were mated to everything for ££ and watered it down for ££,peddlers all of them,these people ruin the dogs more than anyone

 

True malcom but every line has quitters but each line has people breeding them the rite way but the consistent winners have been the beanie and phyco desendents but not the peddled stuff of that line

 

there are no consistent line of staffords , there are not enough matched to be called consistent . the beanie line has produced some good dogs and some rubbish too but the majority are never looked at and just bred for their ancestors past glories and pups are peddled and the cycle continues .

 

I mean more winners from that line do you think sunbeam the working Stafford genepool is small and what can be done about it

 

stuff is being done, heard good reports of beanie blood being crossed into red bull stuff, its a start i suppose. still they will never be the equal of top quality pit bulls , the breed has been ruined in the main.

 

Ok sunbeam also I really liked the look of red bull I think its good that there is people still trying to breed a decent Stafford even thou they may keep the pits they are still trying with the the staffords

 

then today more seems running and jumping and chasing rabbits,is the stafford just a tidy looking dog these days ?,these's gonna be replys to this saying "oh theres a few gooduns around",good compared to WHAT

 

malcom if you don't know is because they don't want you to know
