Let's not let this turn into a bash session, realjudge was polite and kept it facts. He posted he liked j as a person and that he just wasn't happy with his mill. I think me judge and triplej were all a victim of circumstance and j has always been helpful to me. I'm still thinking that triplej will make everything right. Judge jus wants his money back and as someone who knows the details I don't think that's unfair. Making a custom mill versus what you know could be part of the problem, all I know is I doubt realjudge wanted this to turn into a bashfest. Jus leaving feedback on his experience and moving on.

What sucks dream is I don't care!! If you don't want people to critique your products. Don't make em or make em better. It's that simple. But if you do make shittie products. Don't tell people their not a "mill maker". When obviously your not either.

That's what i was thinking, specialy if someone wants a faster mill.
You can get bearings that wil cost you 30 bucks or those that wil cost you 110 bucks for a set of 4.
The same for the wheels you can get those of 25 or 50 bucks.
I think if someone should make a mill with the bearings i've got for my board, you wil have a very fast and smooth running mill.
The dowside is that it wil run you 600/700 bucks alone on bearings for the mill.

I had the same experience with J's Mills. I dont know J I only did business with him once. From my experience he was very unprofessional but he said from the start..Im not a business man. That became very evident from the start. Took 3x the amount of time I was told, I was continually sent pictures of a different mill than I recieved and shipping ended up costed double what I was quoted. The mill is very poor quality. Not just the materials but the craftsmanship..Not one part of the mill is square. Some parts of the frame are as much as a inch off. The bolts that hold the wheels to the frame..not one of them is 90 degrees to the frame. The axle he used is 1/2" but the bearing diameter is 5/8 ID causing the hubs to wobble. The slats are trash not even sure what they are made of. If you look at the pics of the mill in this thread you will notice the slats are black..thats duck tape. With a good very hard push I can get maybe 1/2 a full turn out of the mill. Never even put a dog on it out of the fear it would injure them. These are just my opinions and facts based on observation. This is the business side of things.

Glad i never had an experience like this with a mill, too valuable a tool to have not work the way u want it. I put up $1300 and drove to AZ to pick up a winmill because TL refused to ship it not trusting the shippers. Well, it was worth every penny. Havnt seen a chandler, a curly, or a trotter that spun like mine. Its nice a big too, dont have to worry about any dogs not fitting on it and the red oak slats are hard and beautiful. IDK if TL started making them again but i highly recommend them if u can get a used one.

ps...he doesnt use duct tape. lol

Idk..I guess the duct tape was for traction or to cut down on board pinch bc without it the boards had much more flex..you will have to ask J.

If you want to act like an asshole J I will treat you like one next month when you come out this way. Oh wait, that's just what you tell Dream every month to keep him from asking for his money back. You are a spineless cunt and karma will deal with you I promise. Next time you wanna name drop, just call me Karma.

The duct tape is to keep the particle board from snapping like a twig. You're right about the wobbling Wolf, and if anyone would like to see this POS spin, or would like to see the damaged parts mentioned, just leave your number and I will send it by text.

I've kept quite on the subject of Triple J mills, but after reading the posts above I realized that I'm not the only one that had issue w/ those slats snapping anytime you put a dog on there and the wobbling. I've been waiting to receive my replacement slats in the mail since the beginning of June but I've come to realize that's not going to happen. So if anyone wants this mill and is willing to pick it up it's all yours, I'll sell it to you dirt cheap.

can someone post a picture of these snapped slats ? , i wanna see what they are made out of . Where the mills different from the ones posted earlier in the videos in this thread ?

The problem is the cheap particle board that was used for the slats. They snap like tooth picks the minute you have a dog turn the wheels on it pretty good.

I agree, it should be left to warnings and reviews and left at that. If he had the integrity and craftsmanship of a certain collar maker he wouldn't have this problem.

If the stuff is junk then so be it, he's not forcing people to buy his discounted goods. Some of you are acting like he raped your sister then shit in your mothers soup pot. Like dream said, you get what you pay for. The man was offering mills cheaper than the competition and that was the sellin point. If you were expecting Dog Trotter like reliability and craftsmanship for under $800 then that's on you. There's a reason why no one else has this price point.

Well when you advertise a product and sell a product you will have reviews. The good and the bad. It is a part of business. The posts are up are the people that actually bought mills from this person. And they have legitimate claims as well as reviews of the product. We have many threads on here about product reviews.

It is a part of business. If you can not handle negative feedback in business then maybe you should not sell products.

I just want to say I am kind of glad we have these threads it gives potential buyers a look into what type of person or business you will be dealing with. I have been looking for a mill and I know they are not cheap no matter where you go. So it's great to have a site like this where you can get other's experiences with different vendors before you decide to spend such a large amount of money with someone. When you are a company that deals with the public you are open to scrutiny and you will have people who are not satisfied with your product or customer service that is part of owning a business so it comes with the territory if you don't want the headache of customers returns or complaints you shouldn't deal with the general public is all I can say. On a lighter note thanks Vickie and Shon for allowing members to share their feedback here for the vendors who do sell a product or service it makes it a lot easier for those of us who want to buy a product but are unsure this thread could def help someone make a well informed decision either way that's the great thing about word of mouth and having such a large network of people at your disposal.
