well me too, i love gamedogs above all others but the square is not for me and i let the game dogs for those in the game, i like hunting, to me sports is just for fun.
i believe that these should not be only pet's nor show dogs

i only knew my amstaffs correctly after they been shaken by hog's a few times

    each one his own

yeah it is herodog 1 but I think a lot of these show dogs are poor quality and give a knock on effect to the stafford breed !

That is true, but there are poor quality dogs in all walks of life including game bred dogs and athletic bred dogs.

    are you in the uk?

The dog weighs 38 lbs to in the pics and this is day to day condition and shape , and 17.5 at the tts
He is kc reg, not worker to worker , Don't know if any of his breeding has workers in it ,but it's a very good possibility, don't know that much off breeding behind him personally ,but mostly Athletic events , A friend on here could tell you a lot more than I know .
he's got good drive , stamina , and is happy to please you .
And to top it of caught a big cat today , while out for a walk , not with me though

Your boy wins hands down Joe in looks alone, but you know I like him already:). I would imagine the vast majority of us here would go for the same type of dog, thats our interest, just as the show people would turn their noses up at your dog. thats life and it won't change.
Like I said on me FB wall I have seen worse than the dog that one,but that didn't mean I liked him, just maybe one of the better looking ones of a bad lot!

Brilliant mate, this all helps resolve the bad reputation bull breeds have in the U.K.

once again congratulations and thanks for playing your part.

blanch just part of Nature ! , the dog was of the lead in the middle of fields with no public any were , or visible animals about , the cat came out of bushes and the dog gave chase and caught it in more bushes and tree's , The cat i think was feral , if it wasn't ! it was off the lead and had no owner near by and was probably killing animals it's self ! so it's just a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time for the cat !

We breed Staffords for there purpose but don't use the dogs for those reasons. The structure and balance has to be foremost. The ability to be agile and strong at both instances goes without saying. The breed that has come to virtue with 30years of breeding, the original dog has come out. The dogs are 19-20 inches high and the females are 18-19 inches high, with angulation and length to upper arm for more leverage and hence more wind, longer stanima.
