Couldnt agree more in everything bar our main opinion !! Even though i hold that opinion,the point i am saying is that i still rated him above most others of that era.
Many yr ago i was offered the use of him,but turned it down due to the question mark hanging over him. It was not until later that i took everything into consideration & regretted my decision. Hence my reason in getting offspring afterwards.

 

every dog will quit sooner or later as said before they are flesh and bone and will only take so much, things like was he conditioned good,was he 100% well ect ect all play a part, if a dog has proven himself 2-3-4 times and then quits he is no less of a dog imo, also imo working dogs against badger,fox ect will show if a dog is game or not after seeing stafford,lakeys,jrt,patterdales and border terriers going back to these animals time and time again regardless of there injuries making sure they get the job done does show gameness IMO. seeing it with your own eyes will make you regard these dogs game the [] imo isnt the only test.

 

did redbull turn produce any decent stuff ?

Heard several good dogs. Most known are the once with a bich i believe called Tanya.

 

Here,here I believe a hog dog that keeps working aside from the injury is a worker ..game?not acording to some but definitely a working dog.

 

These are the most known plain & simply because they were (1) for sale (2) new owners decided to plaster them all over the net. (3) Hype. If that makes them the best offspring then so be it.

 

from what i have seen he has produced some better than average staffords, not just from the tanya bitch. thats all you can ask of any stafford really. it would be nice to see a few more staffords winning, especially into apbt's but its going to be a long haul to get them back to what they should be percentage wise (i am not talking about the show stuff as that is finished). too many peddlars have these dogs now, i have seen dogs advertised as multi winners, 4 & 5 X winners etc that had little more than a few rolls here and there, its all done to sell pups but people believe it and so the circle continues.

 

You don't hear m saying they are the best. I only wrote, most known. That doesn't make them the best. Maybe the reason why they are most known is reasons you mentiont. I heard 3 out of 4 where game proven but maybe thats only rumor in stead of truth i dont know.

 

yes game proven i believe Fly but all were sold.
my thoughts are that the owner at the time did not think they could win with them hence not going any further with them.
i may be wrong .......

 

the owner had a few pit bulls he was happy with at the time. staffords are limited in their usefulness as match dogs, who has staffords they think they can win with in open competition ? staffords against other staffords perhaps but winning over pit bulls is a different kettle of fish.

 

i agree sunbeam finding a good stafford is like a needle in a haystack job.

 

I once remember a well known dog man at the time saying to me "your'll fill a skip with Staffords before you find a good one"

 

I heard one of the owners who had one sold him because he couldn't find anything in his weight, the dog was open for lang time but nobody showed up. Heard also he regret selling the dog to the one he sold him to because the one he sold him to wanted to use him for commercial breedings.
But it's nothing more then me was told. So also i may be wrong.

 

they kept a nice bitch i seem to remember, they rated her, she unfortunately died due to an accident.

She was out of one of the sons put back to the Beanie stuff if i am thinking of the same female.

 

One son was put back on beannie III isn't it?

In ped database saw that the other one was also bred by daughter of jack.

 

beanie 3 seemed to be a good producer
